We are playing far better football now though. I really don’t see anything other than a comfortable win for us.

Genuine question: how are they playing? I haven't seen them yet. And do they still have that big, strong, fast RW? That matchup with Taylor gave me the kind of nightmares they probably have thinking of Maeda against Tavernier.

I haven’t seen much of them. Very little in fact. Not sure if you are meaning Sima? He is away. Matondo will play on the left with Cerny on the other side against Taylor. I just think we beat them all over the park.

I don't remember his name. I just rembember him making Taylor look like a little boy a few times with his size, strength and pace. One of my abiding memories of the cup final is him starting a dangerous counterattack and leaving Taylor towing a caravan before Maeda somehow caught him and forced him to check (this kind of thing is why I love Maeda so much), allowing Taylor back in to make the tackle.

This is true - why signing Engels in particular is so important - we will dominate the league regardless - still nice to get the 56/57 and all that - but hopefully will be like Gothenburg team of a few years back who dominated a one team league but were still a force in Europe.
The new format in the Champions League changes everything - and what a draw - exciting times

Was in the pub and watched their last game. The Huns actually played well against Ross County. Their wingers both looked rapid and dangerous. The wee midfielder they signed was everywhere. They actually looked good, which is why the are a wee bit confident. The boy Matondo looked very dangerous. We should still have too much for them though. I fancy goals and maybe a 4 v 2 as they are * at the back still.

5 points behind, 4 games into the league, pumped out the CL, not ideal for Clement. Even if they want to sack him, they can't, they'll be stuck with Murty until they sort this stadium mess out, and even then they are * skint! No one with integrity or common sense would walk into that job right now!

They looked like they did the basics really, Ross County were absolutely awful, one of the worst defensive displays I have ever seen. Most goals poor from their point of view. We'll need Carter Vickers to have a great game against Dessers though, he is on form at the minute and IMO a decent player, better than the * they've had recently up front

My prediction is, Clement once again * the bed with his team selection before a ball is even kicked, Celtic put the work on them and their arses once again collapse. They'll sit back and defend with their lives and hit long balls to the wingers. Textbook Clement in these derbies so far. No other explanation for it IMHO than he is * scared of us, and especially Parkhead. So are their players, they don't really believe they can beat us, the new lads will believe because they don't know what's about to hit them yet, but those players we already beat will not believe, Clement won't either. He'll stick with Tavernier starting the game, as captain, and he'll get ripped by Dazien for 90 minutes like always, when he should really start Sterling at least to show that he has a pair a baws on him to something new.

I for one will miss Todd Cantwell, was looking forward to McGregor pointing at the score when it's 4-0 to us

Cannot wait for this man. 4-1 to us I reckon. 3-0 by half time, foot off the gas second half, huns score from a corner, then we get a late fourth.

    Stick yer hoose on it.

    Big game for all..

But feel Bernardo, Taylor and Scales will be playing out their skins, given the new competition for places..

A statement win would be lovely but ultimately any win will do in these games.

With you regarding Scales and Bernardo; but I genuinely fear for Taylor, mate. I don't think he can make himself faster or taller no matter how hard he tries. This match up between Taylor and their wingers really makes me nervous.

I actually expect we'll see Valle come on at some point if Taylor is getting ripped a new one.

Taylor hasn’t been ripped a new one against better hun teams than this one.

    He’ll be fine.

Nah, not for me Taylor very rarely let's us down in these games.. and has come up against much better wingers than they have at their current disposal.. albeit Cerny is a bit of an unknown quantity..

He has his limitations but has generally been excellent in these fixtures.

I 100% disagree. He was an absolute liability in the most recent derby. Looked totally out of his depth defensively. I really feel that he could have cost us that game.
