I can see us progressing to February in Europe if that happens.

As it stands, Engels isn't gonna be enough. Nor will Mccowan make that difference for Europe.

But if we get another quality cm and an attacking option in, then that's likely enough to get the points from the home games.

Assuming we confirm those two I'd give it better than good. Think the fact we've somehow managed to shift most of the players who won't feature is easily overlooked.

Bringing in the players we want is the glamorous side of transfers, which we have done very well with. Think it's easy to wash over that due to always wanting more and better all the time.

But it's even easier to ignore the phenomenal work we've done in getting good fees for lots of players who weren't part of the plans. I don't expect a lot of fans to acknowledge that really, it'll be all 'we shouldn't have signed them in the first place rage rage rage' etc.

It's already been a superb window, and still time and will from the club to make it even better. Personally am buzzing with how things are going

Yeah, I totally agree. Believe it or not, I actually am one of the fans who acknowledged that (in an earlier post quoted below). They've done a really good job this summer.

Aye I actually remember reading that one, think it was a particularly gloomy time on here in terms of folk losing their * over assumptions they'd invented in their heads (I.e. we'll get a loan in and that's our whack/brendan walks 100%/the club only care about their dividends etc).

Don't always agree with you RR but I know you're genuine in that you try to think before you post. Doesn't mean I won't give you pelters at times right enough
