One thing that always made me * raging was when we had qualifiers for the CL, we Never, ever, got a single player in before those games. Thought we had learned from that by now. Will be the same next year when we have a tough play off tie. This type of slow transfers have cost us massively over the years.

    This.

All too predictable. There's little chance things change in January.

100% they are going to get flack for this window.

But there news to please the fans and get some of us off their back again, will be an announcement of a overhaul of the recruitment team.
Shortly followed by someone being given the job of head recruitment.

They'll not go full hog DoF unfortunately. But they'll play on this window being disorganised down to not having a recruitment team.
Their excuse for not sorting it previous will be some wishy washy, allowing the manager to assess every position and trim the squad down. Going forward will be a big pretend everything on the right tracks.

Engels reeked of a target that we'd end up getting gazumped for.. or refuse to pay the fee.

Positive step in the right direction at least.

Looks like we are able to attract a promising young Belgian who is playing in one of Europe’s top leagues. Who knew it was possible given we play in a footballing backwater :87:

Will be delighted if we get CB, CM and LW on top of Engels but could we really not have completed these 4 weeks ago?

Disgusted, need more variety in first initial, poor scouting.

Didn't realise he was in the Belgian provisional squad for euros as well. They're stacked there..

Top signing and hopefully paves the way for more to leave run of the mill top league sides..

We still haven't replaced Jota and Starfelt in 3 transfer windows, that's shambolic.
We need a 3rd striker and all that's just to get us back to where we were a year ago.
    Zero progression is totally unacceptable.
But hay ho, we have X amount in the bank, would be great if we were to see some squad progression.
Sleeping at the wheel is the best description.
We have upgraded goalkeeping position, provided cover/competition for Taylor and got rid of some deadwood but far too few positives.

We will be holding fire with Yang, Palma, Holm and maybe Iwata until deals are done.

Don't see the value in letting both Holm and Iwata go, loan Holm and keep Iwata.

Couldn't care less about Yang or Palma leaving but need a loan in too.

Shows you what type of player we can attract with some ambition and actually paying what we can afford. Puts to bed the argument that we canny get guys cause we play in Scotland.
