Hahahaha he's got the huns absolutely raging with his comments.

They're complaining about the SPFL allowing this to happen... The ones who allowed the huns to ban us from Ibrox.

We've apparently renegade on the agreement... But they can't guarantee that the safety agreements are up to standards because they don't know where the game will be played. We've made it clear that we've done the works.

Their club is showing dignified silence. Hahahaha they release a statement as soon as they feel wronged. The fact they haven't this time shows that they cannot guarantee the safety works will have been carried out at Ibrox. This must be down to them having no idea when they'll be back in that * hole.

Yeah his swagger is back and fully believe he's the man to take us forward in europe. Board need to deliver over next 2 weeks and not gut punch him like they did last time he was here.

 

Others should be worried that Rodgers has his swagger back. Think we'll hand out a few skelpings this season.

Big 2 weeks, board need to back him to get the pace and power he wants. No excuses.

 

We are so far ahead our competition should be ourselves. Genuinely think the target has to be an invincible season to top the last one

 

What I loved about these comments was how he tackled the "good faith" stuff.

So much of the desperate media campaign revolving our involvement in this is how Celtic should "be the bigger club" and just show some good faith. Despite the fact our players and staff have been assaulted at Ibrox we should "show some good faith". Despite the fact we were banned from Ibrox for having the cheek to win there we should "show some good faith".

Rodgers today has absolutely mauled that idea. Loved him bringing up the prospect of Rangers fans getting into Parkhead only for us not getting into Ibrox, because that's exactly what would * happen.

Clyde SSB are, by far, the worst outlet for trying to push the "both as bad as each other here" nonsense. Rodgers saying it like it is forces these * to actually tackle the issue for what it is - Rangers being lying, greeting faced *.

 

That's probably one of the strongest press conferences I've seen from Rodgers.

Just laid it all out. No hopes to get this, this isn't celtic it's them. That's just great. No more mr diplomatic.

Stephen McGowan was pretty scathing of the club on the PLZ show a couple of days ago, too,

 

McGowan and Lawwell fell out a while ago and he's been quite critical of us ever since.

He got his sources back on board tho.. there was a spell after that falling out where he was effectively clueless to our business.

 

What a turnaround from this man btw...

Coming back to this club in the way he left with a majority of fans hating and not wanting him to then put pressure on himself with winning the league and back in May......To this today........Is absolute fantastic in my opinion.

Slapped those * down along with the media love in with those *.

Having a pop and board and putting it out there with more signings to basically put the boot on the throat of those * for many many years was great to hear.

Exceptional turnaround.......

He has found his home and totally understands what the fans want now.....The Huns Dead in the water and us to move forward in Europe.......Treble after Treble helps as well.

His line about the fans wanting a well run club is another huge * dig at the Huns not just kicking the * while they’re down he’s stamping all over them. He’s absolutely * ruined that baldy fraud and their entire club, again.

 

Good press conference from Brendan, he is on the top of his game just now, and relishing the job, probably enjoying Ranger's death spiral every bit as much as all Celtic fans are just now.

I also got the impression from reading between the lines when asked about Mikey Johnston, that he expects Mikey to be gone by the end of the transfer window.

Just my reading of it.

 

Even the phone ins had the pundits spitting their tea. Celtic fans phoning in and laying it out thensame....huns started this by getting pumped. But pundits can't have that...has to be based on the here andnnoe safety stuff.
