    Personally I like Big Jan but feel we need another striker in the mould of Big bad John or Chris sutton to put a bit more dig in to our forward line Whats your thoughts?:47::shamrock:

    I like big Jan and I think Sammi will settle in, he can get goals but I think he works better with Skippy.

    Its the lack of pace up front that worries me.

    We dont have any quick strikers and I dont trust any of the current lot to play up front on their own at difficult away champions league grounds.

    Its no coiincidence we didnt manage a single away goal in the CL last year in 4 games.

    If the fans think Hesselink is immobile i wonder what they'd say about Hartson :rolleyes:

    Of course we'd have either of those 2 back in their prime, in the current transfer market they literally would cost £10 million+ though.

    We need an agressive manager. As it stands now we must be the team that most of the other clubs want to play in CL. I know our record is second to none at home but I have to think that we are tactically inept. Berbatov's gonna have a field day!!

    Frankly no, he overspends and that is something he would not ever be able to do here, David o leary mark 2 imo.

    I know we came a baw hair close to making him manager 2 years back though, Graham Spiers told a pal who told me, (pal had pics of spiers on the phone because i wouldn't believe him)
