The capacity at the stadium in Europe is 10,500.

1000 of these is for UEFA.
And the sponsors will get some tickets aswell, don't know how many.
Then the seasonbook holders and the members of their fanclub got firstpriority to the rest of the tickets.

Next thursday the rest of the tickets will get sold (not online), if there is any left for the "neutrals".

    Thanks for the info!
Very few chances to get one then unless having a Danish mate...
On the other hand, with 1000 going to UEFA some will definitely land on the black market I assume.

Welcome my friend. I hope you have a great time in Glasgow with The Hoops. As previous guys said The gallowgate area has a lot of traditional Celtic pubs. Also in The Merchant City area near The Gallowgate (Bar 91, McChuills, O'Neills) all great bars with friendly atmosphere.
Enjoy your visit, whatever you do don't win - we'll need those 3 points!!!

Some of the Aalborg boys are flying Aalborg/London/Glasgow. However, cheap London flights to Aalborg are few. Alternative destinations are Århus (100 miles from Aalborg) or Billund (130 miles).

Others are taking the ferry to Gothenburg and then flying to Glasgow. The ferry departs from Frederikshavn only 40 miles from Aalborg and there are regular busses and trains for this journey (5-6£). a taxi between Gothenburg City Airport and the ferry dock is 10-12£. Or it was when I used the same route for my Tottenham away last november. I suppose these routes are reversible:)

Good luck with the match tickets though. As it seems at the moment, non season ticket holders in Aalborg have little chance. Being a member of the Support Club I get to participate in a raffle for ONE of the remaing tickets when UEFA, sponsors and season cards have had their share. EDIT: As written earlier, there are app. 800 tickets for away-fans available.

Also, having such a small stadium (which, alas, is plenty big for league purposes) you cannot really speak of neutral seats as such.

However, there are plenty of pubs and sports bars showing the game in the city center. Wearing colours should be no problem unless you frequent "Asian Bodega" or "Mallorca Bar". Right in the center of the city you will find "The Wharf", "John Bull Pub" and "The Irish House" and a whole stack of other places with big screens, where you should be quite welcome.

Hope to see you in Aalborg, where the beer runs free!

A little travellers guide I wrote as a joke on our own forum:

First things first: Get some accomodation! Aalborg City offers a wide variety of benches, located in parks along sidewalks and at the harbour. Find a nice one with a view that suits YOUR preferences! Stash your belongings anywhere. It doesn't matter. If you have something we want, we will take it. Do not bother to try and stop us.

Find a watering hole. Again your bench will serve nicely as basecamp for drinking. Kiosks and supermarkets all sell booze and the locals are very used to seeing hard-drinking, all but passed out individuals on benches. Otherwise you have a choice from a devastating amount of bars, taverns and cafés. The small ones are usually cheap, dirty and violenceridden. The big ones are snobbish, expensive and a good place to catch a new allergy from the incredible amounts of perfume emitted by the regulars.

Inhale some culture. From your bench you can be lucky enough to catch Aalborgs hard working renovation-crew in action at first light!. Top Modern, fully automated garbage vans combined with the inticing odeur of rotting left overs.
Spend saturday night listening to the locals singing as they rave through the dark streets. If you're really lucky, you will hear classic traditionals such as "Boten Anna", "Du' for lækker" and "Captain Jack".
Aalborg is an old town, with ancient architecture. Unfortunately most of it was demolished in the 60's and replaced with concrete monsters. Use your imagination to experience Ye Olde Aalborg.

As you leave our wonderful city, you will find your liver disintegrating, your wallet empty and your head pounding.

    Enjoy!
