I find myself losing interest. If our ambition is only to be marginally better than Sevco whats the point.

It's harder to justify handing over a grand for tickets every year when they don't seem interested in making us the best we possibly can be.

 

Do we know Rodgers wants that?

Nothing sums up how this club is run better than that.

 

I feel pretty resigned to nothing happening, besides maybe Idah coming in, until a day or two before deadline. Then we will scramble around to see if there's a cheap loan or two and I really think that will be it. There is no evidence whatsoever to suggest that we are getting 3-5 first team players coming in over the next few weeks. Going to try and stop paying attention to the subject until last few days in August as it's just too frustrating.

90% of our CB's are nowhere near good enough to be playing CL football.

Our best midfielder is ready for being sold.

Mikey Johnson still making an appearance on the bench.

This is all nothing short of gross negligence and given the money they have hoovered off the fans it's pretty much theft.

But aye people are still happy with things and they're as much to blame as Lawell and the rest of the rats.

 

Scottish clubs route to Europe are much more challenging from next season. We even lose a place in Europe. Looking at 1 round of qualifying for winning the league, 3 if we finish second ffs.

Wouldn't surprise me if this stockpile of cash is to see us through for a few seasons of non qualifications for the CL.

Can't see Rodgers staying beyond his contract ending in 2 years, which tie this together. New manager, new ideas for the squad.

 

if thats the case (and Lawwell was already quoted as saying thats why we hoard money) then its a ridiculous lack of ambition and shitebag mentality. we could prevent the loss of qualification by actually improving the team ffs.
