Looks to me like he and Rodgers have finally clicked, and it's frightening.

Looked class today. Missing a goal, but wouldn't have mattered.

Deserved at least a brace today. His movement was phenomenal at times. Ragdolling defenders at will.

Feel the same, seems to strike the balance between making his runs but also dropping deeper to connect play a lot better than he was at the start of last season. Giving what Brendan wants from a striker without sacrificing what makes him so good otherwise.

There was definitely a bit of an Ange hangover with the squad last season imo. Started to click and play BRs way towards the end of it and obviously now the pre seasons helped.

I literally said that during the game. Lol.

It looks like either Rodgers has wised up or Kyogo has... Or both.

He looked like Ange never left today, and some of his passing looks like Rodgers has had him working on other things besides his goal threat.

    As you say, frightening.

He looks sharp and invigorated, but Id like him to be more lethal and less delicate with his finishing.

Was there an explanation about how he didn't get a penalty?

Even when not scoring he brings plenty to the game. He tires the defence out, tires the keeper out and they make mistakes. Only 1 assist yesterday but he practically made the 4th by forcing the keeper to parry it to Ralston.

You can see him mixing up his play a lot more, under Ange he was always on the shoulder of the centre back to get in behind. Now he’s linking play and getting in behind which makes him harder to defend against plus creating space for others. He looks as sharp as I’ve seen him, what a sight to see.

Rodgers is making him into a more complete player.

    Shock...

Was excellent yesterday, bar the chance he should've buried but sliced it.

Some great link up play, also think there was the possibility of 2 pks never mind 1, both from the goalie.

Looked really sharp, actually unlucky not to get on score sheet, that missed volley would have been icing on the cake for what was a superb team move.

    Kyogo burnout concerns
Not really, no. It’s very early in the season. I think at this stage of the season - between now and the international break - there’s arguably not too many changes to your team anyway. It’s more when you get in after the international break and then you’re through into European football where you make changes. Not too many, though, because you want consistency in the team but you’re trying to maybe make a few changes or pick a certain player for a certain game. At this stage of the season, even if we had the squad that we wanted at this point in time, there still might not have been many changes, because if you’re winning, working and playing well, then you might not need to. I just think going forward with everything else and coaching time then you want to have the players in as soon as possible. Hopefully before the end of the window, the gaps that are clear in the squad that are clear and that we need to improve are acted on, whilst never shutting the door to our young players

Noone is worried about Kyogo getting tired from playing 90 minutes once a week. It's if he gets injured from a bad tackle, dodgy fall etc.
