genuinely feels like the club are just trolling the fans at this point. wouldn't be surprised if they're waiting on the huns euro qualifier to decide how much we're willing to spend.

Nearly August.. Idah and Bernardo still not secured.

    Absolute bare minimum.

I said this exact thing to my buddy at work earlier. If they qualify and spend 15m, watch us scramble around to try and spend money on the last day. If they lose to Hearts in the opening game of the season and get pumped out of Europe then we won't bother. So reactionary it's unreal.

I was hoping we’d have done some business by now especially Bernardo and Idah they are the two disappointments so far, but as for new talent and a upgrade on what we have I think that takes time and I also think that those types have options and we might not be their first choice, so shopping in the higher shelves might mean waiting to those players to drop their expectations rather than us not getting it across the line sooner.

I hope the recruitment team whoever they are now get the players BR is looking for. It’s what will keep him here and with MOR and Hatate possibly out the door 2 new faces need to added to the list.

I was hoping for at least 5 :lingua:

Tbf, I meant my previous post as a joke about signing a ridiculous amount of keepers. Not a moan about our transfer business. I can see that it's a sensitive topic just now though

I imagine that we've been outspent by more than 1 SPL club so far, since (as far as I can see) we've spent around a million on Sinisalo. Certainly we must have been outspent by several in terms of net spend, as we're currently on a negative net spend again. When O'Riley goes, that will almost certainly put us on a negative net spend for the entire window (which will be the 3rd window from 4 with a negative net spend).

Bare minimum by matchday one should have been striker, keeper and one more imo. Disregarding my opinion on them personally, Idah and Bernardo were on a plate and we har 6 months warning on the goalkeeping situation.

Nothing we have been linked with has been exciting to me, no next level bracket types either.

This was the one last window I was willing to give the recruitment a chance with no excuses regarding money, CL football etc.

Either we have very unattractive to come play for now or we are being taken for mugs..

Not a Celtic thing, per se, but do you know what really boils my *? Why do we close our transfer window on the same day as the English? If we closed it a day later we'd allow our clubs to sweep up loans and out of favour players in a position when we have the leverage. I'm * stunned that the SFA have never worked that out...

Instead, it's only 1 hour, every window; with * all ever getting done that wasn't already locked in.

Meanwhile as fans work themselves into a tizzy, the club and manager remain calm, all eyes are on Rodgers who has already made it clear to the Board what he wants and expects.

At this stage there's no question we should've had at least a few in the door, but maybe when we do actually make signings they will be worth the wait.

I'll believe it when i see it tbh.

Admittedly I've ordered the away top but if the deadline hits without investment I will be adopting the "If they don't spend I won't spend approach".

Rodgers is being let down, the fans are frustrated and nothing changes. I love this team and just want to see what our manager could do with some added quality.

I can exclusively reveal we are actively monitoring a number of high quality players that will go straight into the first team
