Wait till you see the tornado suck up a sea of sharks and land them all over the flooded city.

This is practically a reboot/retread of the original from the 90's. Same types of character, story and dynamics etc, so you know what you're getting here. Have sat through this twice now, with the first time just being a normal screening, which was fine and no real surprises, as I mentioned.

That said, I am glad that went to this a second time, because my daughter wanted to see it and we did it the 4DX thing, which I actually bought into and thought that movie experience was really enhanced because of it, with the rain spray, wild winds, bumpy ride etc all really fitted with the movie that was playing out, without seeming forced or ridiculous, as most movies do that get this sort of treatment. Usually I don't bother with anything like that, and those times in the past never really did much for me, but this is the sort of movie that makes great use of the 4DX gimmick.

If you get the chance I would recommend doing it this way, however, I would expect most of those types of screens will be given over to Deadpool and Wolverine, but if you do get the chance, it is worth the couple of quid extra.

Probably the absolute perfect movie for that kind of screening. That’s a great shout to go see.

Cineworld are putting this back into 4DX this week, one or two screenings a day, so you can get a chance to.

I'm going next week to do this again.

The Martin Scorcese film from the 80's, The Color of Money (w/- Paul Newman and Tom Cruise), is a follow up to this movie, if you're interested. Well worth it.

Watched the new Quiet Place film last night. Was alright I suppose, first one's still the best.

On the look out for any good new horror films to watch.
