Think with having an English guy in charge that length of time usually ends up fresh ideas, foreign couch please sorta deal.

Forgot that Klopp might actually be a possibility, another guy I want nowhere near that set of players, he’d be capable of a World Cup with them as well. Has he been linked there?

Not properly linked but majority of punters and pundits calling for them to approach him.

Think it'll be Lee Carsley or Potter tbh.

Forgot about Graham Potter as well, think he’s still getting paid off Chelsea or something like that so taking his time to get back into management, dunno if that was just a rumour I heard though can’t mind where I picked that up from.

Potter would suit that team as well I think but I’m not sure quite how high I rate him as a manager, he was a guy with a media hype around him a lot.

Eddie Howe seems the obvious choice for me, but could they get him away from Newcastle? But aye, Potter’s a shout. You’ll end up with guys like Carrick getting shouted for as well, he’s had a wee media circus around an interesting but rather average job he’s doing.

I think Brighton managers are a weird one because they're almost set up to succeed with the way the club is ran so well. Potter did well at Ostersunds as well so I think he probably does have a bit about him. The sort of character the FA would want.

You're right about gardening leave too btw, was still earning a wedge from Chelsea for sitting on his * and has knocked back multiple jobs in that time.

He is a good manager I think, just hyped up enough to go to Chelsea with the sort of managers they can attract and money they spend? He’s not the level of previous guys like Conte they brought in etc

Don’t think Howe would take the England job either, don’t think he fancied the hassle surrounding managing us so can’t see him fancying the same with them.

For Southgate to win nothing with that set of players is quite an achievement.

Ange loves us, his family loves us. I’ll never be consoled about him leaving with that, at times, breath-taking getting you on your feet fitba, but he’s no a born Celtic fan so he’s doing what’s best for his family, as we all would. I was a bit alarmed at his recent links to the engerland job as I’d like him back at Parkhead, in some capacity, in the future.

a blessed man, what a great two seasons he gave us

He will always be a legend to me. Until recently, my niece worked at Celtic and she gave me this when I moved flat. Him and Martin O'Neill are similar, in that they appreciate the fanbase. Got a book signed with a note from MON for Christmas as well.

Spurs fans starting to turn on him now, few more bad results and he could be out the door

I cannot believe they spent £65 million on Solanke.

Not a horrible player, but he’s scored 28 goals in 4 seasons. Last season was a purple patch and it’s a huge risk to think that will continue. And even then it was only 19 goals. It’s incredible the extent to which they’ll overrate players from English clubs.

They’re saying it not me, some want him gone already. One dimensional and doesn’t change to suit other teams. Susceptible against the counter attack etc etc. time will tell but he’s got a task ahead of him

They started well then just turned into spurs. Just don't have that mentality to be a top team.

So was I but I think he actually looked quite good for them there, had 3 good attempts on target a shot and 2 headers and held the ball up well.

He's a lot better than Richarlison and Son also I felt was * for them as a striker last season, his movement was surprisingly poor in the box reminded me of Edouard playing as a striker, a good finisher and technical player but not a box player.

£65million is just the type of money players go for down there, McTominay would probably cost £35million, Richarlison I think cost them £50million from Everton as well a couple of year ago and is half the player of Solanke.
