anyone playing this? Its a new Free to play looter shooter with elements of destiny, division and warframe.
The upgrading, researching characters and weapons is very in depth. Its worth a look. I wouldnt spend money on it though, there's definitely pay to take shortcuts elements in this game.
If you like a grind then I would recommend.

I liked the look of it but the modern horror show of pay to win put me off instantly too.

Compared to destiny it does take the * a bit with microtransactions. Difference is you can buy materials for cash which you'd otherwise have to grind. There are also ultimate characters you can buy, they cost around £80 and you also get some bonus materials. Thing is, grinding is rather fun and missions are short, I've spent £7 on the battle pass and thats it.
There's 14 characters overall, 10 of which you can unlock through research if you have grinded the materials and parts.
When you have all the parts it takes 16 hours to research a new character. Apparently they have big plans for the game, new characters each season and weapons. Its getting quite popular now after some good reviews

I think if I was a lot younger I'd give it a go(had more free time). I do love a grind. My backlog is so lengthy though I'd be mad to jump into something like this.
