Conceded 58 goals in 34 games last season.

How much has to do with the defence in front of him is anyone's guess, and Salzburg paid 5m euro for him 6 years ago; but he was then punted out on loan to psv.

His deal with PSV was loan to buy, 2 year loan. But after one season and conceding on average a goal a game for PSV, they shifted him back to Red Bull after a season.

    Doesn't make great reading.

Not entirely true, I would take Dubravka but he wouldn’t be my first choice mainly due to his high wages. For what it’s worth I would take Amartey as well.

I watched Mvogo for PSV a few times and he was awful, so my opinions are indeed based on me having seen these players perform.

Almost every name linked so far has been underwhelming. Will hold my tongue, but I'm seeing the familiar signs of our ways so far.

It's a hard pass on this guy.

While Lorient have allowed him to leave this summer following their relegation in Ligue 2, Yvon Mvogo (30) is attracting interest from multiple clubs in France and abroad.

Two years after his arrival from PSV Eindhoven, Mvogo’s journey in Brittany has probably come to an end with the club’s relegation to Ligue 2. The Switzerland international brought all his experience to Lorient and was one of the standout players despite the club’s disappointing season. The former Leipzig keeper is already garnering interest from multiple clubs and could be tempted by another challenge abroad.

According to a report from L’Équipe, Yvon Mvogo will be allowed to leave Lorient this summer following the club’s relegation to Ligue 2. The Swiss international has a lot of suitors queuing up and would be closer to a move abroad than another challenge in France. While Nantes have given up despite their search for another keeper upon Alban Lafont’s (25) potential exit, OGC Nice have added his name to their shortlist. However, Les Rouges et Noirs will have to face competition from Parma, freshly promoted in Serie A, and Celtic Glasgow. Mvogo will decide what is best for him in due time, when his Euros involvement will come to an end.

Used to sign him on FM all the time when he was 21/22.

had loads of potential and never ever seems to fulfill his potential

Picking the wrong relegated Ligue 1 goalkeeper to go after, we would be much better looking at Mory Diaw of Clermont Foot.

He has been one of the best goalkeepers in Ligue 1 for the last two seasons. He was voted keeper of the year for 22/23 and despite his team going down still had a very good season 23/24.

31 year old Senegal international as well so has a good few years in him yet. He is also about 6’5, and a solid all round keeper.
