This time may be different. Rodgers already called them out in the winter window for not being brave enough, and the atmosphere turned toxic towards the board when we had a bad couple of results.

They know they have to back the manager as well as possible, otherwise they are risking an even worse situation.

 

If the Norwich manager really does want to keep him then we are going to have to pay way above and beyond the £6 million that people seem to be valuing him at. That’s never going to happen, we can only hope the reports that Norwich want to keep him are bull *.

Adam Idah is on the verge of a return to Celtic.

The Hoops made their move for the £6 million-rated striker today. Talks between the two clubs are now at an advanced stage. There has been significant progress made by Celtic and a deal is close. Idah is expected to be given permission to travel north for talks, a medical and to put pen to paper. The Republic of Ireland star has made it clear to Norwich City that wants to rejoin the Scottish champions this summer.






Norwich had made it clear that new boss Johannes Hoff Thorup wanted to run the eye over Idah in pre-season but the player has made his position clear. The 23-year-old wants to go back to Celtic to play under Brendan Rodgers again. He is now set to get his wish. Rodgers made it clear after Idah’s Scottish Cup winner against Rangers that he wanted to bring him back to Celtic Park

He scored some big goals for us, but his all round game leaves a lot to be desired. First touch and passing doesn't look great. Looked a bit donkey-ish at times to be honest.

Bernardo's role in the final is massively underrated. Idah got the tap in but it was all Bernardo.

I'd still sign him, I'd even pay £5m-£6m to get it done. It gives me the fear though knowing that he'll be our main/second striker next year. He may come good but I thought we'd be setting our sights a bit higher.

 

Paying £5m/£6m for a second striker, who has clear talent and lots to his game shows great intent, in my opinion.

We could always do more and we could move faster but Idah scored 9 goals and had 2 assists in 19 games. He can and will improve with a decent summer to build on with the team mates he has already gotten to know.

I really like him and think there is a lot more to come.

 

Barring injury, I reckon he'll get close to 30 goals next season, if he signs for us. That would absolutely be worth £6m.

The thing with Idah is, he's 100% going to improve ten fold under Rodgers.

If we could get him and Miovski it would be sensational wee bit of everything between Kyogo, Idah and Miovski. Doubt it will happen though

 

i think with kyogo and idah we have two good options ,with that young fella we were linked with will probably be the 3 . the big spends have to be on wings ,if we get some quality crossing kyogo and idah will stick them away for fun

 

He’s definitely Rodgers type of forward … strong, robust, can hold the ball up well and is fairly quick.

Think we’ll see him go up a few levels next season … let’s just hope we get this done.

 

If we can sell Oh and get Idah in be a class start.
Then one more striker later in the window, they can be young or even a loan deal.

Good news. Probably should been done a few weeks back but we gradually got there.

 

I was thinking that's maybe why we targeted the Costa rica lad 3rd choice young like eddy people forget he was only 19 or 20 when he signed am sure
