Love the series and will be getting this

    out early October

apparently it’s more like the original games with more stealth and less hack and slash

I'm properly disgusted that Starfield is an xbox exclusive game looks amazing. My son has an xbox though so might hijack it for a while.....

    Also looking forward to AC.

It's good so far, reminds me of AC 2. But it better get an update because some of the mechanics are flawed. Trying to run and hide and he can't get over a step, or gets stuck in a bush while fighting. It's definitely more stealth than hack and slash. Get surrounded by 4 guys just run, coz the combat is a bit clunky at times

Completed the story already, it's pretty short and the map is quite wee. Think I paid £45 for it, but would recommend waiting for the price to come down

It's good but doesn't feel like a full game, I don't know why people complained so much about Odyssey and Valhalla both were amazing games

I think a lot of people just miss Assassin's Creed games that are actually revolved around being an assassin - stealth, using the hidden blade, a compelling story about assassins v templars etc. Valhalla was a viking game. If I'm not mistaken, Odyssey never even had a hidden blade. That was just an RPG, action game set in historic Greece.

Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla are the types of games that are immensely popular now - huge, sprawling RPG games. But they are absolutely nothing like what Assassin's Creed used to be and what so many people fell in love with years ago.

Put AC2 side by side with Valhalla and they are almost nothing alike. For me, Black Flag was the perfect middle ground.

I agree Black Flag is the best AC game, and I understand that not everyone likes the RPG elements of the trio, but all game franchised evolve and adapt as the age, another thing I had against Mirage was that they didn't bring back the recruitment part of the Ezio trilogy where you would recruit new assassins and send them on missions to level up I loved that.

This is what I'll be doing because I like the idea of this game being more focused and less open world fetching

Really enjoying this, the start of the game I felt the graphics were a bit iffy but that seems to have changed now. The actors voices are a bit iffy too, lol compared to previous games.

Am enjoying the AC1 vibe to it though, I've even grabbed the free altair uniform to wear, lol.

Unlike other AC games I never felt the urge to replay this, I still feel like it was more of a DLC rather than it's own game

Really enjoyed this, took me back to the original game.

I actually forgot who Basim was in the whole AC universe, I did remember him, but forgot who he was from Valhalla.

Been gamer my whole life but never bought an Assassins Creed game before, thought a would make Mirage my first as its shorter and more focused than behemoths like Valhalla. Graphics are stunning on Series X and the world feels alive, really enjoying it so far.
