Crazy that some were actually seriously considering him, given how much he is injured. If he wasn’t a Celtic fan, no one would be even entertaining it.

That'll be the end of the return rumours. He's * now. He'll be retired before he's 28 I'm sure of it.

I feel really sorry for Tierney.

His body just can't handle his skill and desire.

He'll be linked with us over and over again to be honest, but there's no way we should be considering it. Need to move on. I hope he can recover and stay fit for as much of his career as possible but we can't afford to be signing folk so prone to injury.

Got 2 years on his deal, I imagine he just sits at Arsenal now and I don't blame him.

He wouldn’t come anywhere near us anyway. The way he was managed here is the reason he’ll be finished before he’s 30.

Feel sorry for Tierney but He is far too injury prone and definitely time to move on from returning to Celtic, that ship has sailed, He will probably retire at an early age due to injuries.

Tbh I can see him back here on a free but he'll be on low wages for a player of his quality when fit.

If he was here already I’d be fine with it, look at CCV the last two years, it’s been worth the level it elevates us. But for what he’d cost, for the gamble, gutted for him.

It was us that wrecked him. And it’s sickening

Prime example why so many of us were sceptical.

It would be madness to pay the money for him.

McGregor playing same amount of games as Kt under Rodgers and he’s still playing into 30s …. Could not just be the fact Kt is injury prone and it’s getting worse as he ages

Thats it. Some bodies can take the abuse and others just break down.

It's not just the game time though. McGregor got (I'm talking about when they were both here) fouled a * of a lot less that KT did because he gets the ball and lays it off quickly, he doesn't typically hold on to possession for long, where KT was having to make runs with the ball from deep inviting shocking tackles from hatchet men week in week out that rarely got punished as they should have been. And then had to keep playing when not fully fit as there were no real alternatives. That takes a toll on the body.

McGregor is a complete anomaly. He has got to have played the most games in world football in the last 5 years, and I don’t think that’s something to be proud of.

Maybe pride for the player himself, but not for a club. There were clear signs last season that his legs are going, but his intelligence compensated for that. He’s not going to get any more mobile I can assure you.

We were asking Tierney to take painkilling injections when he had osteitis pubis to play domestic SPL games, because our recruitment was so poor that we didn’t have a capable replacement to fill in against the likes of Motherwell and St Mirren.

Then fans have the cheek to blame him when he moves on to Arsenal. He’ll be delighted he took that contract with them now, as barring a freak Saudi move it’s the best money he’ll ever earn now.

Got to feel for him. Bit like Andy Murray, seems to be a battler but sometimes your body just lets you know it's too much.
