Rodgers obviously doesn’t fancy him, so it’s a great deal for us. That said, I do think there’s a player in there who could do very well in Belgium or elsewhere in the future.

It does highlight how difficult it is to come in as a second or third choice striker at Celtic though. It’s tough to find form, confidence and rhythm with so little game time in such a high pressure environment.

If he goes, I wish him well.

I know some aren't that impressed by him, but he did contribute really well in his first season, and whilst this season was a serious downgrade he still got some goals that made a difference to how many points we had to haul back from the huns.

Will go with fond memories from me, think it's the right move for him and us, but wouldn't be surprised if in 5 years time people are saying we should never have let him go.

Sadly, can't argue with the offer on the table.

Given his position within a Rodgers squad, getting £4mill for someone Rodgers sees as less than bench warmer is ridiculous money.

I'm personally sad to see him go, as I think hes got a decent ceiling. Obviously not going to suddenly start watching Belgian league, but I look forward to hopefully hearing his name getting bandied about a couple seasons time as he hopefully starts cementing a name for himself.

ive always liked him, think he put a bit too much pressure on himself sometimes, he will do really well there, genk are no mugs and they can obviously see his potential. Wish him all the best but I wish it were a loan instead, were not exactly desperate for money.

I did not think we would get a penny for him tbh, but when you think about it, we have become a very respectable club to buy players from over the last decade. Especially strikers.

    Official now?

    Good luck big man!
Genuinely think he's a decent player and I'd have genuinely liked to have seen him loaned to an Aberdeen (with miovski coming this way for example), then see how he steps up.

He needs a run of games, he needs exposure.
He will get that in Belgium and good luck to him.

Genk have made an improved offer as they look to get a deal done for Celtic striker Oh, according to reports in Belgium.

The Belgian side were last week locked in talks with the Hoops who are ready to offload the 23-year-old 18 months after signing him from Suwon Bluewings in his homeland for £2.5million. It was reported last week that the Parkhead side were poised to make a profit of at least £1m

However, no deal has yet been reached although it may be closer if reports in Belgium are to be believed. According to HLN Sport journalist Bob Faesen, Genk have increased their offer for the South Korea striker as they look to get a deal over the line.

An Oh exit would leave Kyogo as the only recognised senior striker at Celtic but manager Brendan Rodgers has made it clear he wants to bring back Adam Idah from Norwich after the Irishman's successful loan spell in which he scored a number of important goals - including a winner in the Scottish Cup final.

Oh has never been able to hold down a regular spot in the side despite managing to score 12 goals in 47 appearances, many of which were from the bench. He was signed as a replacement for Giorgos Giakoumakis who had also been unable to dislodge Kyogo as the starter.
