It's a definite yes from me. Would slot back in alongside big CV effortlessly

Thing with Starfelt, if he's had a successful season he'd probably cost more than we sold him for.. and that would be unlikely..

Has his Mrs binned him or something:56:

Remember reading he kept getting sick and didn't know what was causing it until he realised it was coming from damp in his flat

He hasn't really had a successful season. Celta Vigo were lucky not to get relegated. He started the majority of their games but he was out of the team for a while, especially after Benitez was sacked.

Hmm, a bit torn on this one. I'm not a fan of looking back, I feel that we should be looking to improve but I know he instantly improves our defence. If we could get him cheap then sure why not.

I'd take him back, same condition/wages etc as before, not more though.

I’m unsure. I really liked him, thought his pace and positional sense was excellent. I still think he was dodgy as * with the ball at his feet but he always seemed to have the pace to sort his own problems out.

I wanted an upgrade on him before he was sold. I just thought we needed to try and find another CCV to make that next step in Europe. Something to think on. I would be both for and against it for multiple different reasons.

Surely he’d be leaving her: she was punching.

    Totally agree.

He wasn’t as bad as the huns and Scottish media (same thing) made out but he still was suspect in certain games and i wanted an upgrade on him after a while.

I would love him back, as would CCV, I imagine. Apart from the fact that we barely lost a game with that partnership, he is better in the air defensively than anything we have.

If we don't think we can bring in anyone guaranteed to be better, it's a no brainer.

No brainer if he’d be on the same money and the fee was only a couple of million or so.

He’s levels above anything else we have at CB, aside from CCV. Him and McKenna would cost us peanuts and instantly improve our quality and depth there - and both of them have played in Scotland before.

    Punt Welsh.

Lets be honest Celtic will not deviate away from the business model. Not for anyone. It's great we all kid ourselves on we want to do anything significant but we won't. It will be another window of £4m or below squad fillers hoping to strike it rich whilst we watch the bank balance swell. The sentiments from the board of "we know it doesn't make sense to have vast sums of cash in the bank" was to appease the fans who moan. But come 11:30pm on 30th August we will sit with the same frustrations as the last few windows and then look ahead to the next window. We will then get the usual sound bites, brendan will moan like * and we will then hold up the profit and loss account like a trophy. Anyone expecting anything less is kidding themselves on!
