Rodgers ain't selling him while he's here. Already commented about making an impact.

 

I think he could still sell him, Mikey is still our player so brendan is going to talk him up and his chances here imo rather than publicly saying he wants to sell him. I think just to keep Mikey’s confidence high. I could be wrong but I reckon pre season he’ll come back n they’ll have a chat about what they both want then will be decided

 

I don’t see it happening for him here either to be honest, because there is a section of our support just won’t really allow it to happen. Always been very odd behaviour from our fans regarding him. Injuries have absolutely crippled him here and I can’t help but feel sorry for him because you can tell he is desperate to try and make it work here. I can’t hate a player for that, but there’s a horrible section in our support that have really got it in for him.

The thing is, at 24, he is actually still young enough to succeed here. The move to West Brom has done him no end of good. I’d love it if he come back and showed the same form, because he definitely has a lot of ability. He probably has the best natural attributes out of all our wingers.

His end product was very poor today v Southampton

 

That was the first time I've watched him play for West Brom and it was a carbon copy of his performances here.

I don't see his stock getting any higher than it is atm so mibbes best for him and us if he was moved on in the summer, get us a decent fee and let him get on with his career at a club where he can see more gametime.

Any fee above £3m is outstanding business. Should be achievable because of how well he's done down there.

I think if West Brom did get promoted, they wouldn't go back in for him, but since they didn't I'd be shocked if they didn't want him back.

Anything north of £2 million is fantastic business.

 

Mates a WBA fan, so ended up watching-suffering-a lot of their games. He did hit a purple patch early doors but has been rank recently.
Absolutely take whatever first offer we get for him, a total backward move if we keep him.
Did hear that Norwich are considering a offer.

 

There will be a few championship teams that will take a punt on him, £2M would be great.

He got 6 goals and 1 assist in his first 9 games, which is fantastic. Last 11 games it was 1 goal and 1 assist. Feels like the goals stopped, his confidence went and form went. Kind of feel he's always been a bit like that.

Imagine someone would fancy him though.

 

Getting him off the books and getting a decent fee is best for both ourselves and MJ. He’s got something about him but the pressure cooker here is too much for him.

Should be plenty of suitors down south who would take him on, especially at £3m or there abouts. Would be excellent business from us as well.

 

If Norwich want him use him as a makeweight for Idah
