Put some respect back into his name.

I think, in term of honours, best in recent history.

I think the egg head is a cannon but in terms of prestige and history he’s the best Hun gaffer since Smith. And Rodgers essentially came from behind and jumped him (after being on top)

I said after the draw at Ibrox I thought we would win our remaining games. You could just see we were starting to click. Barring a penalty that never was, we win that game Ibrox. We have went from strength to strength since then. Win on Saturday and we finish on 93 points and close to 100 goals. Hard to imagine when you consider some of the criticism he has taken this season.

We battered them up until the penalty. If it had been 3 or 4 at that stage it wouldn’t have flattered us.

It is a bit mental tbh. 93 points and near 100 goals, with the injuries and criticism he's had flung at him. Sometimes justified sometimes not. The football hasn't been great all season, but in the cold light of day, the stats read well.

I still maintain no other manager gets the same end result.

Hopefully the Ange hangover some fans still seem to have can finally * off. Back this guy.

Agreed, something wasn’t right. Last time round he waltzed up here knowing full well he was the best thing in the country by a landslide, and treated everyone else accordingly. This time was different though. He seemed reserved, and the way he left last time around and the reaction he received coming back was clearly playing on him.

The turn of the year was like a flick of a switch though, we got our best players back and he started acting like the best manager in the country again. The past two months have been some of the best stuff we’ve played in years tbh and with a bit more quality next season will be excellent.

Considering we lost Jota, Mooy, Abada basically all season, no Giakoumakis. That’s a * load of goals and assists to the team lost. So to still nearly score 100 goals I think is remarkable.

Fair * to him for pulling it out the bag when the pressure was on. Got a bit of fire back in his belly since the turn of the year and has got a tune out of the team at the vital stage of the season.

    Our football was sublime tonight.

His song making an appearance was * delightful. All the aggro that's been kicking about all season is now history, he deserves all the plaudits possible for steering us through it all.

Balls of steel, top manager, and one of us. Hope he gets his hole the night.

His management of the run in has been class..

If you take McGregor for example he knew his importance and knew he needed minutes, even when he was toiling, showed bravery to get him peaking at the crucial time.

Agreed, ever since the loss away to Hearts (we 100% pump them with 11 men) we've been excellent, couple of wobbly periods here and there but the mentality has been second to none.

He's an elite level manager, back him and we'll go far.

Aye I've got a real level of excitement back for next season.

I'm now back believing we will spend money. Can't wait to be brought back down to earth :56:

Twice at least. Was at the game, almost to a man everyone joined in :fear:.

Superb football tonight, has to be said, and actually thought Killie were decent so 0 - 5 is an impressive result.

That's what makes the previous results so sweet.

Not talking about the huns as they were absolute garbage, but both Kilmarnock and Hearts played good against us, * they'd probably beat the other SPFL teams comfortably if they played like that against them. We just made it look easy with how good we were.

Great hearing his song again tonight. Finally feels like the past is all behind us now. He's said it numerous times when the club is all united we are far stronger.
Feeling positive about the summer and next season with him in charge

I said I'd give him him 2 seasons to prove it was the right call to reappoint him.

    I stand by that.

We've won the league, which was the absolute bare minimum expected for him to retain the job. I don't wanna sound like a negative nelly, because the past few weeks he really has proven a lot more to me than he has in the past, especially his previous stint, but my expectations are more based on how he and club operate together.

The real test will be this next transfer window.

Will we see a manager who demanded REAL investment to push this club forward? Or a straw man who will roll over for a belly tickle from DD. He also has to prove, to me at least, that he can be trusted in the market.

2 seasons to prove he's the man to take us forward. So far, he's on track. I had MASSIVE fears mid way through the season he was gonna * the bed. But he did well.

Well done Mr Rodgers, keep it up.
