See the huns are panicking about the fact if we win the Scottish Cup, we tie with their claimed overall trophy haul.

Even with the fact they cheated, we're still going to catch them. It's inevitable and glorious.

Interestingly at the start of this Century the standings were:

Celtic - 78 trophies
Rangers - 98 trophies

Meaning we'll have won 20 more trophies than they have in 24 years. Domination.

 

Plus they actually share a league title with another team... a team that outscored them that year

 

Has there ever been a more important scottish cup to win than this one.

I mean it is funny, but i don’t really buy into that *. We’ve won the big one which is worth more than a few Scottish league and cup trophies.

 

It’s basically the last ‘thing’ they have, in terms of achievements. That and more league titles, but they go hand in hand.

They really went all out on the 'most succesful in the world' patter after the old club was liquidated, as part of their continuation myth, it was always a load of bollocks, no big cup, al ahly in egypt had more domestic trophies, I think a team in uruguay does as well now, but they doubled down on it for years to be staunch and kid themselves on everything was fine, now it's coming to bite them in the *.

It's completely about this. Raw number count. They would have swapped that number years ago for a European Cup win.

 

I'd be embarrassed to come away with that ' World's most successfuly club' patter, but if we surpass them and the deid clubs combines total, make no mistake, I will be coming away with it to any huns I know.

Imagine claiming to be more successful than teams like Real Madrid, AC, Bayern and Liverpool

 

We won 33 trophies out of 60 between 2000/01 and 2019/20.

Between 2004/05 and 2023/24 we've won 15 League titles, 9 Scottish Cups and 9 League Cups, 33 trophies out of 59, could be 34 out of 60 which I think will be a new record beating 33/60 over 20 season we've done I think a few times like 2000-2020, 2004-2024 and whatever.

 

Next season we'll be going for our 19th League title in 25 years

 

We completely own them in every sense..

Even if by some luck they win the Scottish Cup, they know as well as us that we'll be surpassing them with ease over the next few years..

That and the big one in the bag. Sickens them so much they went bust lol..

 

You just know when we do overtake them the desperate * will try and include lower league trophies and war time ones as well.

 

Don't promote the myth they have this trophy accumulation they are a new club and founded in 2012 and only won three so far since they came into existence and the real rangers are dead.

 

Like most, normally wouldn't give a * about the overall tally.

118, 55, 250, 300 whatever amount of trophies we have domestically won't matter a * to the vast majority of football fans across the world.

No one is looking at domestic football here and thinking "aye, some achievement that"

Specially when you've clubs like Madrid ticking off UCL wins like a countdown to Christmas.

Celebrating it over the rest of Scotland as well seems pointless. What is it, Aberdeen with 4 league titles is the next one down? Hardly worth shouting about.


But see solely because of the stink the Huns have made for more than a decade now, about 55 being this elusive thing as if it equalled or bettered 9 in a row, that 56 is the next magical tattoo marker, I fully want to see it paraded at some point by the fans and want to see their reaction and mental gymnastics to not congratulate us or give us the credit they give themselves so much.
