Mate, I agree but * it. Results are all that matter in the long run and we got the needed result today. Wasn't pretty, and we definitely need to improve going into next season but as far as this patchy season goes we've gone undefeated against our nearest challenger to essentially win the league.

I think that place goes to the team with highest individual coefficient and Benfica are ranked above the Huns

 

What a win that is. Massive. I know folk expecting a bit more but that’s football. We didn’t take some good chances and at only 1 goal in it they are always gonna have a go last 10. We dominated the though literally bullied them for 75 mins. If they didn’t get the red we would’ve won by 2/3 easily. They just packed out the defence after that.

A league title we all thought was gone a month ago. These are the best. They were so sure they had done it too, which makes it ever sweeter.

 

What a first half display that was. How we went in only a goal up I don't know. So many near misses and in fairness a few good saves but we were superb in that first half. I thought we started the second half very well also and were using the extra man well but after O'Riley missed the penalty I thought we were too narrow and too slow with our passing which made for a nervy ending when we didn't get the third goal to kill it off. But for all we defended our box very well at the end and Hart had very little to do. Fully deserved the win and one hand on that league trophy now.

 

I think the magnitude of what was on the line in terms of the title comes into play in that second half as well after the pk miss. But ultimately while we made it more nervy then we should have fact is we defended our box at the end well and over the 90 minutes we were by far the better team and fully deserved what is a massive win.

Yup. There was so much at stake. I think if they won we would’ve lost the league, Killie would’ve been a nightmare. We as fans were nervous as * and it would’ve been even more nervy for the players at 2-1 so late on. We didn’t give them a sniff though cleared everything.
