Teams are happy to give him the ball. He caused mcgregor to get booked, gave numerous hospital baws and in general was weak defensively against Dessers.

There's no way he is a starting centre half for celtic. But as I said top of the page, we all know that.

    Surely brendan does.

Just like watching Jack Hendry on the ball, so slow and indecisive. Needs better for next season.

I think he has a hard time of it. Defensively he was sound. Tactically they let him have the ball and in that situation I think it's on his team mates to make themselves available. A lot of them were more than happy to let him have the ball.

His passing in to midfield is criminal at times..

His actual defending(headers, tackles etc) was good but on the ball he is poor and nervy to boot. Which does beg the question why do we constantly give the ball to him to start attacks?

    Was still better than Hatate's.

Really don't think his team mates help him. Bit like throw ins today - no one actually looking for the ball far too often.

All the comments about him today are fair and accurate. His decision making is slow and poor. Missed opportunities to carve the huns open as he drives aimlessly in to space to then play a nothing pass.

He's played his part this season absolutely, but he needs replaced ASAP. Not at the level needed, never will be. Gives his all and loves it here, but back up at the very best.

Slack passing but was solid enough in defence.

solid enough cost us a goal with his lack of marking of Dessers has him then loses him when he’s standing infront of him

Exactly what I felt today. His defensive work was very good but his passing was poor.

    Absolutely garbage on the ball.

However. The last 20-30 minutes when they * were putting a bit of pressure on, he was outstanding. Cutting out through balls, winning headers etc. He isn’t good enough to be a regular starter for us, but he is a capable squad player, and he deserves a lot of praise for a lot of this season and especially the last 20 minutes today, when he stood up and was counted.

He does look like he needs a rest. He is never a starting CB for us, ever. Why we signed him and Welsh to deals is beyond me. Unless we plan to get some cash for Welsh.

He was murder for their goal and he was worse on the ball.

Mciness said they let him have the ball all the time. Watkins and Vassell will ruin him on Wednesday if he plays

    Stick Welsh in against Kilmarnock.

The crazy thing is he is a decent player, defensively he only has like 1 weakness, pace if he is isolated with a runner. On the ball also his passing is decent most of the time, better than many guys like Boyata, McManus, Loovens, Sviatchenko and others.

But he's a player to me who looks like he's thinking too much when on the ball, just doesn't process the game like a normal player. Like the defensive equivalent of a striker who scores when he has no time to think but then bottles one on ones and easier chances.

Poor vision of whats going on around him i'd say and slow to plan what to do. Leads to him taking too many touches, looking about too much or panicking and passing to guys who he shouldn't have passed to but did because he knew he held the ball too long.

Lacking confidence. Couple of times early doors he was taking it forward and looking to move it on quickly, but seems to go into his shell too easily.

Has the tools to be a first team level player but needs to figure out how to stay positive and take a risk going forward. Looking forward to following his journey over the next few year.
