I hope people realise that of all the strikers we have, McDonald is our finest. Samaras is all for himself, while he will score a few goals he will never set up goals for others like Skippy did last season. Yes Skippy scored 31 and yes JVOH assisted in a few, Skippy also repaid JVOH wiith a few too. For me the best partnership is our 51 goal partnership of JVOH and Scott McDonald. I hope that he is close to full recovery and then I hope the gaffer puts him straight back in.

qatar bhoy. That is rubbish. He is same weight as last season. He is never going to be skinny, it is his body, whether we like it or not. But he uses his body well and he weight to gravity ratio makes him hard to push of the ball. All he needs is to score his first one for season and that will open the flood gates.

Toatally agree justice he's a constant danger man i think if you ask any manager would you rather play against maloney and samaras or mcdonald and hesselink they would say samaras and maloney bcos mcdonald and hesselink are so good together one scores the other one assists. and i dont think mcdonalds got fat i hes always been stocky and as far as being off the pace i think last season and playing with australia finally caught up with him.

boy do we need him. He may be on the chubby side but thats how he is. No going to change so stop complaining. Samaras is good but we need a pocher and thats exactly what mcdonald is.

McDonald is the best goal scorer we have.....no doubt about it. Samaras is a very ordinary player in my opinion, JVH is good when he's on his game, but for me doesn't put himself about enough in a game. In saying that strikers are the least of our problems right now.

Derby games are physical battles and Skippy and Jan are physically superior to Sammy and especially Maloney, so it could have been a different result. And it has to be said that we were unlucky in the second half.

Skippy ain't bad but hes not as good as some are making out he certainly wouldn't have changed the game yesterday and as for JVOH he * cost us the game yesterday as we would have won it if he wasn't so stupid, it was after his dismissal we fell apart.

He would have made zero difference yesterday, why? Because we made zero chances. The game was lost in the midfield, we had nothign about us, Brown was on his holidays again and Hartley doesn't the barin to play that position. McGeady was * shocking and has been since the start of the season. If we didn't get auto into the CL, we'd be in a worse position then those *

dont be so naive. oh what if? what if boruc had made a save? the problem wasnt just up front with samaras and maloney. The back four were bossed by cousin ( thank * hes leaving) the midfield was outmuscled, outplayed and just outclassed by better player. I dont think i saw mcgeady even get past davis. mendes and thomson were make neat first time passes whereas we were far too slow once again. There is no what ifs. We were just battered yesterday end of
