Winning the title

Still got work to do for me. We beat the Huns at home and I'll be more confident.

 

If we win both our games before we play them on the 3rd game then I think we will do it !! The way rangers are playing they could easy drop points before they play us and don’t see them being good enough to beat us at Celtic park. Hopefully that then takes the Kilmarnock game out of the equation

 

If any evidence was needed to prove that this league is far from over, today it was provided.. this team is capable of horrendous performances..

 

I'm delighted with everything that's happened since the Hun game. To be 3 clear having played the same amount of games is a terrific position to be in when you consider what we were facing if the Huns had beaten us. Probably 5 behind.

However, it's far from over. We just can't be trusted to see games out. It's actually disgraceful tbh.

 

Today was a good wake up call..

If this was the league we'd have dropped 2 needless points..

I can't see us being as bad defensively at Dens..

 

Maybe a game like today, sets up well..

We'll need to battle and that was certainly one today..

 

Who comes in though, Nawrocki?

I haven't seen too much of him to make me confident either..

As frustrating as it is, it's probably too late on now to go with anything else but Carter-Vickers and Scales and sort the position in the summer..

 

Would genuinely play Welsh.

 

He'd be right in the mix but he isn't positionally great and breaks down so easily..

 

Agreed. I think he’s far better on the ball than Scales and he’s the one I’d guess CCV would be more comfortable playing with, thus allowing him to play his natural game.

Crazy we have 6 centre backs in our squad and CCV is the only one you would realistically keep. Welsh, Scales, Rocki, Lagerbielke and Kobayashi all have their faults.

 

This is it. The laughing at the huns is out of relief that our inconsistencies have just put us ahead.

We should can any talk of winning the league aside, as we are capable of blowing this advantage in 1 game. Dundee won't be easy as they showed on Wednesday.

 

It feels like Scales is Rodgers pet project. He clearly enjoys bringing on players and he's undoubtedly done a good job in improving Scales. But as you say, he just shouldn't be first choice. Feels a bit stubborn from Rodgers if he continues to start him over Rocki

 

Tell you what, it’s five banana skins with that defence.

 

Today showed that the title isn't in the bag.

We've all been watching Celtic this season. We're all well aware.

Need to knuckle down and win comfortably at Dens Park next week.

 

Hopefully, it's a wake up call for the players. They're not good enough to coast this.

 

We need the huns to lose at least one more
