I haven't been this nervous about a title run in in over a decade. I thought Ange's first season was a nervy run in; but in fact we were clealy the better team and in hindsight, it was just a case of waiting for their luck to break. This year, there's honestly nothing between the two teams IMO. I haven't seen that kind of title race since, what, maybe 2011? And we haven't won a race like that since probably 2008 IIRC. Someone correct me if I'm forgetting a season.

 

This is a very fair point, and one that I'm sure the players are aware of. Rodgers should be hammering home that it's them that win the league not the Huns losing it.

 

At the end of the day, mate, we will win the league if we win our games, and the fact is that we finally have most of the squad fit (although Maeda is a huge blow IMHO). That means that we will win the league if we are good enough to deserve it. It's up to Rodgers and the players now.

I reserve the right to take that back if we get any more decisions like that Iwata penalty at Hearts.

If we would have had dundee, st mirren and huns first 3 I would have been happier tbh but is what it is.

Hearts will go all out against us they always do but 1 draw in last 12 for them against huns is ridiculous lack of professionalism from naismith but expected.

 

Everything is in our favour now... Points, fixtures, form, injuries and experience.. but it's football so take nothing for granted.

Diets away for them last day of the season doesn’t sit well with me. I know they usually beat them anyway but that’s an absolute bye now for them imo. Say what you want about the diets, they are still the third best team in the league

 

If they draw tonight it's all games square and we're 3 points ahead...in the 2 games played before we play them if they draw 1 and win 1 and we win both it's 5 points in it...all we need to do it beat them and it's all over....fingers toes and everything else crossed

 

They’ll win tonight and we go into the split one point ahead. Still a huge amount of work to be done but the momentum is with us, our main players are back and fit and Rodgers looks to be laying down the battle cries.
