Fair play to him; the more players we have in-form, the better.

I think I know the time you’re talking about, can remember turning to my brother and pointing out that’s what his experience brings. Probably only labelled it his experience cos he’s older now as well, because really, he’s always had that.

He’s going to be crucial for the run in, for 30/20 minutes at the end of games, I’m delighted to still have him. Especially when like today, he’s the only guy left on the pitch for week in, week out having known what is required winning mentality trophy wise.

Thought he had * the chance with that 1st touch but what a strike that was with his left foot.

Delighted for him and he's definitely got a part to play in this run in

Not sure what this thing is in our support where we always seem to downplay our own in Forrest’s case to not be appreciated for the level of his service he’s given us for over a decade. Over 200 goal contributins.

I can see why BR said he’s our best winger, when you compare him technically to the rest he’s the best. The way he looks after the ball and links up with his number 8 is levels ahead of the rest. Been a great Celtic player.

It’s always been genuinely puzzling that, for 3 seasons and 3 trebles he was close to 20 goals and 20 assists. And 3 years into that was getting labelled inconsistent, in a purple patch and ‘we’ll see how long it lasts’ 3 seasons in.

14 seasons I think it is he’s scored a goal, absolutely refused any chance to leave us and at one point he could have got a lot more money elsewhere, not just that, he refused 5 offers in January because he thought he had something to offer still and wants to just be a one club player.

Rarely do you hear from him but anytime you do, he’s pointed out how lucky anyone is to be at Celtic, and makes it clear theres been a lot who’s left who’s made it clear to him they regretted it. And he brings that attitude, and comments like that, to our dressing room.

Ange backed him for a 3 year extension because how much he brings in the background never mind on the pitch in his waning years.

Through the ranks, a Tim, brought so much success. We have never had a song for him. It’s * weird

Been very sharp & assured whenever he’s been called upon recently. Was defo the sub to make last week with hindsight but I definitely wasn’t calling for it & don’t know anyone who was. Think he should be utilised more in the run-in for his experience.

Better option than Yang and Palma.

Should’ve scored. We’ll need him for the run in.

Did they ever mention why we were allowed a 6th sub. I missed the sub as I was getting beer came back and Forrest was on.

He's not a left winger though, always been more effective on the right.

I’d start him before those other clowns at Hampden. Not one of the other 3 offer anything near what Forrest has offered in the last few games. He has the experience which they obviously lack but also has the footballing intelligence they don’t have.

Can start games bcoz he apparently doesnt offer the the level of intensity the manager wants due to him being too old yet that useless * Yang is out there like an empty jersey.

Yet more bewildering pish from Rodgers

Jamesy has looked very good every time he has been called upon this season. If Yang is having the kind of ineffectual game he had on Saturday then James Forrest is capable of doing more in 15 minutes than Yang could do in the whole game. A fit and on form James Forrest is a fantastic option to have on the bench or possibly even start. He also has a massive amount of experience winning Titles and getting them over the line with no less than ELEVEN Scottish Premier League Titles to his name. Superb achievement and he's not done yet.
