Others seem impressed with him. Yet to see anything that makes me think selling him on if we can recover our money isn't the best option.

Last thing we need with CCVs fitness recently is another CB that has fitness issues (and additionally is a *)

A muscle bruise is similar to a sprain

Ahh well that makes some more sense, a centre back being out no playing bruised makes me judgemental:56:

Has to start next week and against Aberdeen in the cup.

He cost £4.5m, it's time to see if he's good enough. Every cb has looked better next to CCV so let's see them together and then fully judge him.

We already know Scales isn't good enough

Huge chance for him today, this is the start of what will make or break him as a Celtic player this.

A good performance against st mirren doesn't really solidfy his place in the team, but a bad performance puts him out the pecking order.

He played excellent against the Huns at new year and help to create kyogos goal and should have started last week.

Why has he never been given a fair chance? Miles better than Scales on the ball.

He’s far better than scales on the ball and has good covering pace, would keep him in the team for the run in.

Agreed. Defo some moments today where I was raising an eyebrow. But want to see him get a run

I think he keeps his place, but actually thought Welsh looked more assured when he came on.

Far better on the ball than Scales and has good pace too. Had a horrible habit of tracking long balls and letting them drop. Would much rather he just went and met them in the air 10 yards further up the pitch.

Should keep his place tho based on his performance today and the ever deciling performances from scales
