You can make contact but just winning the ball and then catching him in the thigh doesn’t mean it’s not a penalty

That's the thing (I know we are using two different governing bodies, but we basically mimic and take lead from down south), it's the level of contact that awards arsenal the penalty. Even then they can't all agree.

With Silva, the contact is minimal at best AND he's already motioning down (diving) before contact.
So by their own logic (the ones saying the arsenal one is a pen), the contact needs to be relevant and enough to cause the opponent to go down, Silva was NOT.

Pointed to our left back position at one stage. He's a right winger and never even goes left sided.

One of the worst incidents yesterday was Iwata going down with a head injury and the * playing on until huns crossed the ball and we cleared it, cheating scumbag. Fearing I am going to sound like Kevin Keegan but * it I'd love it if we bet these cheating hun * to the title.

Rather than coming out with ludicrous statements, please go check the laws of the game, the law was brought in to prevent reds been given, the offender is CAUTIONED, not booked. If the offence was an attempt to play the ball (which he did and won) so no card can be given as no * foul was commited, if he didn't get a touch on the ball at all, then it's borderline yellow. holding, pulling pushing in all other circumstances preventing a goal scoring opportunity results in a red Card. Your yellow card remark is mental as he got to the ball. Everything else afterwards is irlelevant.
You're making a fool of yourself if you're actually saying it has nothing to do with contact when it does. His body was going sidewards when he won the ball and fell his legs go up. You try running full pelt, turning direction and keeping your legs low at the same time when off balance, it's impossible as motion takes you off balance. If he tried to keep his legs low which you can't then that would be weird and would look like her tried to trip him up. If you genuinely think it's a penalty and he shouldnt have his legs up and "caught him on the thigh" then your totally brain dead in this point.

    I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

The Arsenal penalty was a clear penalty and they disagreed with each other.

One half said it wasn't a pen as the Brighton player got a slight touch on the ball.

One half said it was a pen due to the force.

Johnston gets the ball, which they clearly didn't see, and there was no force.

I can't see how they can have such wildly different opinions.

Yes, and 2 yellows equals a red. He was already booked. It was never a booking, but I thought Beaton would have taken the opportunity. Do you not think he caught him in the thigh?

    * Gallagher saying huns disallowed goal COULD have stood.

    Whit??? This * for real.

He goes on to say that, "there's no doubt it was a foul"

Too * right it was a foul and the cheating * was three yards away and didn't do * all. But yet it COULD have stood. Baldy *!!

A decision that puzzled me at the time and I'd like to see back was when I think it was kyogo robs goldson of the ball and he dived on it with both hands and somehow got a foul.

They never showed all the angles either. Lets be honest this isn't just paranoia now. Sky is run by huns and they're always going to spin the narrative. Someone also said on radio last night Sky love the rivalry of these games and if it doesn't exist our sponsorship is at risk. They even said that CCV should have been booked twice and sent off. It took all of about 3 minutes to say this when they ended the program. I've noticed they tack SPFL on at the end and skip over anything controversial in our favour.

Who's in charge of the VAR replays when a ref goes to the monitor as they never showed Johnson winning the ball and therefore it's not a penalty.
They needed to show the whole incident not a 4 second bit where the zombie diving in the box.

Dermot Gallagher is not the Messiah, although listening to him, he thinks he is.

He's nothing more than an ex referee.

    Full of his own "importance"

There is minimal contact and the fall happens because Silva chooses to throw himself to the ground rather than because AJ brings him down. It's certainly not a clear and obvious error but we know everything in the box gets scrutinised for a penalty to rangers
