McManus = Disgrace

robson should be captain the only one with a bit of dig about him ,mcmanus is to nicey nicey instead of booting * like brown and hinkel up the * and telling them what it means to play for us.

i dont go along with that one im afraid.
ok so what he didnt have the best of games the day but he wasnt the only one.
every single player had a * game the day.
ffs the problem lies in players not paying attention for the duration of the match.
we stopped compeating after half time and thats a fact.like i said players have to start getting dropped to maybe wake them up.
so this pish makeing our captain the scape goat for the day is * guys.
we all know we need a lb asap but we keep * about with that.
its the 1st old firm game of the season so * it let the * have WE WILL GET THE * NEXT TIME!!!!!

Part of the problem was the Huns won every single second ball. Every one.

They were on their toes all the time - we weren't.

 

Only a friendly totally agree, thats why I hate pre season. But that makes you wonder why you were ranting on about how bad the team was after losing 'only a friendly'?

 

mcmanus was just woefull today,aswhere the others ie caldwell,hinkle and wilson,should have subbed caldwell for loovens

 

so, Mick is * because he showed a bit of respect beween combatants? In my world that is shows the guy has a sense of honour and keeps his dignity and keeps the moral high ground, even if Cousin is an animal. Mick is limited and I think Loovens should replace him but I think his character is not in question.

 

Got to say that i don't think mcmanus has the temperament to be captain. It's ok to have passion but you must be able to set an example.

Big Mick didnt have one of his best games today but did anyone.? He is a good player and does deserve to be captain. People criticising a player for showing good sportsmanship are out of order. Mick and Caldwell bully and use aggressive tactics all the time and this time someone has played them at their own game and won. Mick accepts this and thats why he was sporting in his behaviour.Thats football. Boruc should take a leaf out his book after his disgraceful unsporting behaviour refusing to shake hands etc last season. This is just one game and i guarantee Mick will more than make amends in the months ahead.

Why all the McManus hate yet Wilson and Boruc get off.

1st goal- Wilson gets completely burned by an average striker simply because he is slow. Boruc lets in a pretty bad goal from a short angle.

2nd goal- Was on Wilsons side. Sorry to say but mainly a class strike from KM.

3rd- Mendes wonder goal

4th- Boruc total fuckup

McGeady, Brown, Hartly all looked horrible too.

Point is a lot of people looked poor. If you must pick someone for SOTM (* of the Match) would have to go with Wilson or Boruc. McManus looked pretty average compared to how poor the rest of the team looked.

Why all the hate singled out on him?

Who today deserved the captains band? McGeady? Boruc?
