I mean, you're assuming that everyone has enough self-awareness to know they're subconsciously biased. And even if you do, what then? Just give up your job and never officiate another game?

I'm not defending Beaton btw, because I believe he and some other refs are consciously biased. Like, I think they sit in the VAR booth and try to find penalties for Rangers and penalties against us. I think McChillieni said here or elsewhere, the things VAR look and don't look at are very suss. VAR is basically the smoking gun for cheating in the Scottish game, more so than who your granddad supports or funny handshakes.

I think what we're looking at goes beyond subconscious bias, it's literally just huns hiring other huns, and taking their opportunities to turn the tide in games where they can get away with it. No grand masonic conspiracy, but longstanding institutional bias towards one team.

This will be our version of the Montreal screwjob by Beaton and Walsh tomorrow if we allow it!

Blame Nick Walsh for that penalty. Cutting off the part of the replay where Johnston clearly gets the ball

    Absolutely * mental

100%. Beaton was on best behaviour, Walsh stepped up for the SFA Loyal.

I wonder what it'll take for the club to say anything.

    Absolutely atrocious stuff.

It does come in near the end, but Cheating Beaton clearly sees it.

Seen that just as he quite clearly ignores the foul on Iwata, that is possibly even more obvious that he's cheating, he's 3 yards from it, looking at it.

Watching a head knock happen and let it run.....this alone was a disgrace and that was an easier decision...but he waited to see if Sevco benefited first

That was probably as blatant as you’ll ever see it.

Overturning a dive to give a penalty.

Ignoring a blatant foul on Iwata in the build up to the “goal”.

Watching Yang in pain, holding his head, until the huns attack breaks down. Then deciding to blow the whistle when we have the ball

Giving them a foul every single time there was a bit of contact.

4 yellows to us and none to them.

That penalty will go down as the one of the most scandalous VAR decisions ever to be seen.

It was a dive. How VAR thought that was a clear and obvious error and ended a pen is truly incredible.

Var never thought anything the ref nick Walsh made that decision, it's always the refs before var came in and same refs now, var just shows them what we see on the TV, 100% it's one of the worse iv seen

If anyone outside of refereeing would have performed so badly at their job then you would be in some serious bother. It amazes me how in refereeing there seems to be no regulation when it comes to job performance. Even if there is it can't be anymore than a slight telling off and on your way.

Said that at the time. Its all quiet in the media though. A classic etc is all we're hearing. A shocking display of cheating again.

How silva was booked for the constant diving before hand I’ll never know. Also the dive which lead to Johnstone getting the yellow
