Back to his comments about Beaton he’s Ona suspended two game ban he says anything else that indicates bias or incompetence he’s banned again so of course he’s gonna keep it nice … if you watch whole interview though he has a smart veiled dig about them and how they are paid to do the best job they can

Brendan has had his flaws this season but this is the game he seems to thrive in tactically and everything associated it. If we can’t win don’t lose it’s in our hands.

H knows that himself, it’s just not something you come out and say when your teams been so inconsistent. What Rodgers will be saying to the players at Lennoxtown and all week will be very different to in public.

I don’t think he will be working them up into some mad frenzy or anything as that’s not his style but as mentioned before he will be using that narrative that everyone is writing us off, go and show them.

I just hope the team do come out and go and show them. Being honest in the them, I include myself and other Celtic supporters who have not been massively impressed with what I have seen for large parts of the season.

That last game vs them, all be it at Celtic park 2-1 was a very unfair reflection on the game as I think we were at least 2 goals if not more better than them for about 80 minutes of the 100 played but we had 10 daft minutes before half time and at the end of the game which made it tighter than it ought to have been.

That is partly why I am nervous for tomorrow, if we don’t take our chances and these games this season have had very few chances in them, and they do nick a goal or two in their spells then we could lose it.

On the positive side if we play as we can, I do think we are a better team and have the quality in the team to win the game. I take heart that guys like McGregor, O’Riley, Hatate, Maeda, Bernardo (last time) and Kyogo have all in recent times shown the ability to raise their level for theses games.

I agree.. but speaking weak about (its not a must win) in public just gives the orcs more belief. we are playing against sleekit * here who won't give a * what he says. they'll be out to kick pull dive and var their way to victory. so his comments should be on how confident he is in our bhoys to go there and maul them and stay top of the league and go onto win 3 iar

Love that picture, he doesn’t often show much passion but that picture just sums up how we all feel, get into the * and take the 3 points home.

Time for him to earn his crust today. Overall it’s been a very patchy season but pull a win out the bag today and it’ll all be forgotten about (assuming we do the business rest of the season). Literally could be career defining.

Rodgers was right though, the pressure is all on them to win. With the last game against them at home if we’re within 2 points of them then it’s all still to play for. One thing for sure though, we absolutely cannot lose today.

Simply don't understand his subs when we are up.
Thats 2 old firm games in a row he's has nearly totally blown by bringing on powder puff, terrible defensive subs on when comfortably ahead
(Yang, m Johnston, Bernardo et al)

On paper, his subs were spot on. Timely, too. I'd definitely have brought on McGregor when he did. In theory, he takes control of matters and settles the game. Yang has work rate, and Kühn was tiring. Things didn't work out, but Rodgers made mistakes only if you look with hindsight. Other than not using the 5. sub, I guess. Ralston in for the carded Johnston would've been useful, or Lagerbielke at CB for Taylor, with Scales shifting to handle the tall Sima.
