Just opened my bedroom window at 5.16am to listen out for birds. I can already hear a singing blackbird and I heard a carrion crow.

Not really a bird person but we have a lot of Chipping Sparrows around us, the reason I know this is because at the end of last year I left the Christmas wreath on my front door up a little too long, one day I here scratching at the door, I open it a bird flies off, next few days every time I pulled into the garage the bird was on the wreath.
My wife looked into the wreath when the bird was gone and sure enough there was a nest of eggs so we ended up leaving the wreath up until they had not only hatched but had left the nest. I couldn't leave the window open at night though because they started chirping like a chorus around 5 am

Deers also like to come around where we are because there isn't a lot of traffic and lots of people have small gardens, for some reason they like our neighbors bushes, these are from June

A couple of times I have seen a mother deer bring her young one along, so small but I never get a picture because I don't want to frighten them off

I downloaded the Merlin bird I.D. app onto my phone recently and used it in Hazelwood forest this morning, it's a great tool, it I.D.'s all the birdsong as it hears it and you can go back into the app later and click on the various species to hear their song, this mornings list included Blackbird, Robin, Song Thrush, Missle Thrush, Redwing, Great * and Wren.

    Cheers John.:50:

I was wondering why my bedroom was a wee bit cold at 5.00am this morning. I only realised my window has been left open all day:56:

The good news is all the bird species I have been listening to . Window still open at 6.04am. I can here the very nearby Rookery, robins, blackbirds, Wrens all singing and Herring gulls and a carrion crow and Ruby Roo breathing on my bed:49:

PS 6.13am now , the colony of house sparrows in my garden are chirping away now and the local pair of wood pigeons are calling to each other.

I can hear a cat, I had better clap it away as I hear a blue *.

My wife, my daughter Caroline and I were in a Supermarket car park this morning. My wife went to get a trolley. All of a sudden we heard a Carrion Crow going crazy. My wife, unknowingly, had disdurbed it eating a piece of bread. The bird was looked as if it was actually shouting at my wife. It was really funny.
