His first touch first half when the shot was on. Was the worst touch of the day..

Another thing I've noticed is he's always available in space. It's like sides aren't too worried about marking him as they know his end product is * stinking..

It's absolutely no coincidence two if our most reliable and hard working players from the last few seasons (Taylor and Johnston) have absolutely turned to * under Rodgers.

IT'S THE SYSTEM that is stifling the majority of these players!

Right side is as much of an issue as the left with him and Abada.

They are both incredibly limited footballers and that combined with if Maeda and Taylor are on the left it's infuriating to watch at times.

There's a lack of flair in the side. Kuhn made an impact when he was on as he can actually beat a man.

What are the odds of going off at the same away ground twice, for head injuries?

The hibs manager coming out and saying it was a nothing challenge and should have been a drop ball is stone age level analysis. He’ll be incredibly fortunate to come away from that without a really nasty injury.

This assault should have been a straight red.

Speaking on BBC, Rodgers said: "The first one [penalty] I am not sure what the referee has given, maybe for a reckless challenge. I don't know, or a collision.

"But he gave it so we were thankful for that, but not thankful for Alistair Johnston. He is away to hospital so hopefully he will be okay."

On Sky Sports, Rodgers added: "It was a nasty one for him.

"I think he has gone to hospital so I will find out a wee bit more later."

I'd have been happier if he had his eyes open and didn't look so zonked out his nut in that photo

Much like that assault on Kyogo a few months ago by that baldy Aberdeen thug. Bringing in laws about how often a team is allowed to practice heading in training.. how about protecting players from these ridiculous challenges? That * was never winning the ball.

I don’t think he went out to hurt Ali, he was just trying to win a ball he had no right to win. These challenges need removed from the game before someone gets seriously hurt. We’ve had 2 players literally hospitalised this season.

I was astounded that no one on commentary or in the studio mentioned this. Having seen the replay it was an obvious straight red. He was nowhere near the ball and it was dangerous as *. You can do serious damage with challenges like that, AJ is very lucky.

I still maintain Kyogo was back far too early from his concussion back in November and he's never been the same. Hope AJ is fine and takes a rest.

So if you clip someones ankle 2 seconds after they pass the ball, it's a free kick but rap the nut in them 2 seconds after they head the ball, it's fair game ?

You need to remember the challenge Kyogo suffered from that scumbag Rubezic. The ref thought that was only a yellow.

Alistair Johnston is out of Celtic's Scottish Cup tie against St Mirren this weekend.

The defender suffered a sickening head injury in the early stages of the Hoops' 2-1 win over Hibernian on Wednesday night.

The Canada international won his side a penalty after Hibs' Nectarios Triantis collided with him in the air.

It came at a cost though, as the right-back, 25, was substituted off, with Anthony Ralston deputising in his absence.

Johnston was rushed to hospital for checks - but he gave the thumbs up to fans on social media after Adam Idah secured the victory at Easter Road with his second spot kick of the game.

However, now, Rodgers has revealed to the media that the defender suffered a suspected fracture and will therefore miss Sunday's fifth round tie in Paisley
