And of course his next game... Hibs @ Easter Road...

Where Brendan Rodgers has never won during his first tenure as Celtic manager, having recorded a draw there in 2017, followed by two defeats in 2018, and another draw when we went there back in October.

 

Many of us pointed out how many points he dropped in seasons 2 and 3, people just said but he was top and won the league. We are seeing the exact same this season but with someone chasing us for the title.

He’s basically came out with: ‘There’s lots of games to go,we have to sort it out on the field,it’s my job as manager to bring..consistency’ ‘Last couple of performances not at level we need to be at’…

Has he has his eyes shut for the rest of the season

 

Not exactly fighting talk in his post match interview, nearly fell asleep.
Team are currently a direct reflection of the manager - flat, frustrated and uninspiring.

 

I honestly think if we have any chance of winning the league he needs emptied today..

He can't get a tune out of this squad

 

Massive game on Wednesday night. And it ain’t as if he has a great record at Easter Rd

 

He really needs to find a way to change this quickly.

His style has made some of our best players look completely bang average.

With the current injuries and imbalances in the team, I think a 3-5-2 would be much better. Defence and middle of the park need more protection and Kyogo needs sometime to link up with.

Suggested the exact same shape but with slightly different personnel in the match thread and got shot down. He won’t change his shape though. We all know that. For me though going to this would steady us. We look far too vulnerable right now

 

In hindsight, selling our 3rd top scorer when we are struggling for goals, was maybe not the best idea.

I have a feeling it wasn't his decision though.

 

There is not one thing to point to to defend him currently either.

And the aye but who would the board appoint if we sacked him isn't a defence of Rodgers that's a criticism of the board

 

Unfortunately it is a "basketball game" with that defence. Even vs Ross County at home.

 

League is done if he stays.

league is done either way. We aren't going out and getting a good manager, if he goes then Kennedy is manager til the end of the season.

 

Struggled past a * Ross County team and scraping a point away to Aberdeen. A lot of that is on him and his tactics and it's been the same most of this season.
