They were happy enough to do ltb with verona just couldn't agree on the fee. Verona offered £3.5m, Norwich wanted £6.5m

So we either don't think he's worth £6.5m despite the managers high praise or we think he'll be bang average like all the rest of our signings and we think we can negotiate a lower fee

If he’s good enough we will buy him by hook or by crook, the lad has plenty power in the situation and clearly already has a love for Celtic.

Let’s see how he does first before we get our knickers in a twist about transfer fees!

    Rodgers said :
“We have this period for us to look at him and him to look at us”
    Pointing to a possibility perhaps?

    What are his main attributes..

    Quick? Rapid quick?
    Is he strong?
    Does be graft like *?

Sure I've seen these mentioned but if he can roll defenders and is quick then those qualities usually do well in our league..

He’s all of those things but not sure how effective he is at rolling a defender or just being effective in the box in general. He will be a presence, a pest and he is good with the ball at his feet. If he can find the net we could have a real player on our hands.

I can see us spending 6-7m on him in the summer to be honest. Which is a complete 180 from when I first heard the news. The more I think about it the more I get the feeling he is going to suit us very well

He fits the kinda profile of a player we could actually do with then mate..

I wanted a lot better but those attributes are similar to Oh but he's very raw at times..

If Idah can come in and hit the ground running off the bench, then he could be a very useful weapon for us..

I'm gonna go and watch some of his best clips and look for the positives. Hope he smashes it..

His hold up has looked decent whenever I've seen him.

Going by stats he needs to use his height to his advantage a bit more often though.

Granted I’ve only seen 2 full games he’s played (albeit one was against VVD) but he looks like a total pest to play against. Has no problems getting involved in a battle but can also run away from centre halves because he’s quick so if the defender is pulled out he can go over the top. See that a bit more in his YT highlights.

The sticking point will be his end product but if he adds that he will be a real weapon, that’s easier said than done though. You’re either a natural goalscorer or you’re not. He also needs to actually use his height, particularly in this team, we’ve got plenty big guys who don’t score headers we don’t need another one!

He has the POTENTIAL to be a quicker, stronger gg.. he works hard alright but he can be a bit passive at times. He holds it up well enough and he is fairly clinical when he gets on it.. mainly watched him for Ireland and in championship where his teams weren't dominating the games.. I think if the fans get behind him and really drive him on he could be particularly effective at home to park the bus teams..if his confidence drops he will go into himself

Not expecting much tbh so if he scores more than 3 goals while he's here its better than I thought he'd do..going of his overall game stats that got posted previously.
Potential potential potential..if i had a pound everytime that's been said about players coming here haha.

If you weren't ruined before you came here son, Rodgers will make sure to evaporate any talent you still have.

Done ok, but too early too judge. Think he only had one cross to attack.

He looked ok and he now gives us a physical presence in the box which we have lacked since our Greek wizard left.
