If we found someone good enough then they'd most likely be gone with 2 seasons. Nothing wrong with someone for a short spell because that's all we get from anyone good.

Getting ‘Rodgers leaving’ vibes from this season, the board not wanting to commit to higher perm signings and Rodgers making no noise about it being an issue we aren’t getting anyone in he wants

The manager has previously said he wanted 4 players of quality as it stands he has 2 players I'll leave the quality part for you to decide. We've also alresdy deemed 3 of our summer signings to be not good enough which begs questions of the recruitment team. We're also coming out the window where we were meant to sign 4 players of 'quality' in profit... We've made roughly 3 million

How anyone can defend this window is beyond me.

 

This reeks. If he's so far out of the picture at PSG, why is his agent only touring him about now?

 

Since the end of the 20/21 season he has played 408 minutes over 8 games and average of just 51 min a game. 6 of those were last season at Fulham and made up 391 of those minutes

If it comes with a time machine this will be a great signing. If it doesn't I do not think he will be a good fit and is simply to be a "big" name

 

£115k a week wages and a significant loan fee to PSG close the thread

 

He’s not getting a look in there.. can’t see why they wouldn’t be open to loaning him to cover half his wages. We’ll see I suppose. No chance we’re paying 115k a week obviously

 

He'll be going nowhere then as nobody is payung that much to loan a guy that's had so little game time in the past few seasons.

 

Aye few media places running with the he was offered and we said naw so won't be happening, probably McGowan told get a name out there and we can say we tried.

 

I thought he was good at PSG from the little bits I seen of but that was about 5 years ago.

I remember speaking to a PSG fan at the time who thought he was pish though.
