    Trying desperately to put a positive slant on it, but as long as he comes with a ton of energy and willing to give 100% he should be able to score a decent number of goals in quite a few SPFL games and it gives us an option to rest or rotate Kyogo who looks out of sorts.

    Interested now to see whether this is someone Rodgers wanted in or a board signing. If it's Rodgers signing he had better produce. If it's a board one, I can't see him getting a game.

    You can still buy a player after a loan even if there's no option in there currently. They're shipping him out to make room for SvH so there's still not really a position for him to go back to and their fans seem pretty done with him already. Either he does well and signs with us or doesn't and goes elsewhere.

    This is the most textbook dogshit signing we could possibly have done. You get stories of Van Hooijdonk ongoing for ages, (who is a goalless Bologna reject in his own right), we get to deadline day, find out we're signing a Norwich reject on a 6 month loan deal and they're signing Van Hooijdonk, really emphasising the step down from an already meh target

    Remember, we are only signing real quality that is going to improve us.
    Rodgers is here to further us in Europe, unfinished business there.

    Why would you doubt a 3rd choice Norwich striker who sit 9th in the Championship and is deemed surplus to requirements?

    That's exactly the sort of quality we deserve to get victories over Lazio and Madrid - can't score against Millwall, naturally he can score against your Milan's of the world.

    What do us mere fans know about football though.
