Do you know what, I’m just going to come o it and say this.

I * despise the way Peter Lawwall runs our football club and I wish to * he would pack his office up and leave the club for good. He deserves to be remembered for the positive stuff he done for our club and he’s poisoning his reputation with the fans. The longer he stays, the longer the fans will take to forgive and forget. He should have stayed away and he would have been remembered fondly amongst the vast majority of us, in time.

Regardless of how I feel about him as a * businessman, I actually quite like him. From numerous stories I’ve heard, he’s quite a laugh. Mulgrew and Paddy McCourt stories. The whole thing with Jelavic. He can be funny. The biggest, most impressive thing I’ve seen when it comes to the man’s character? Let’s look at Tom Rogic and his retirement post.

I would also like to thank Peter Lawwell and Dermot Desmond. Without their help all of this would not have been possible. Through Peter and Dermot, I was put in direct contact with one of the world’s leading medical experts, which eventually led to my wife and I being placed at the clinic that would give us the best chance possible to start a family. I will be forever grateful.”

Regardless of anything, the man is human being and he’s done some wonderful things for this club and the people associated with it for many years. It’s time to move on but the sort of vitriol that has been passed on tonight is utterly horrendous.

    It's was a joke.

It was a reply to one of your fellow gold members of the forum "wishing nothing but bad things on the * weasel".

Don't see anyone questioning that tho.

I'll delete the post as its clearly upset to many people and apologise if anyone took it seriously or were upset by it

Frustrations with running of the club and particularly Lawwell getting the better of me.

It was a flippant remark with no intent behind it.

Apologise to all who read it.

Easy to get carried away on the forum and post things you don’t actually mean. Most of us on here i would say agree with you on how the club is run, it’s a shambles.

Saw the bump thought he had left got excited then swiftly exited the thread upon realising he’s still here.

can’t wait till he parades Vata as our new striker

Probably dropped them off down the Royal and ticked the unemployed box, fly *.

Really though. Nobody knows of it's him or he's just running things DD and whoever are telling him. It feels like the full club needs a right good shake up starting at the top. Just haven't moved with the times quick enough and being left behind so badly in European competition. This Barrowfield project should have been done years ago as well.

It's the oddest thing, but I find attitudes towards him mostly don't change in the short-term. In the decade (just over) I've been on here, there's been a slow increase in the number of people who dislike his involvement and a slow decrease in the number who support it; but I've never really seen any big fluctuations based on how things were going in a given season.

The people who support him would IMHO support him if he was found in bed with Trump, wearing a Hun top and waving an Israeli flag and the people who hate him would still hate him even if we won a Europa League quadruple. When things are going well, they just stop posting or talk about stuff like his driveway.

Our continued underperformance in Europe, the various feuds with fan groups and the occasional moment of negligence are very gradually changing the relative proportions of the two groups; but on any given short-term issue, you can pretty much predict where each group will stand.

I've defended him a lot, as to criticise his achievements domestically, diminishes our own success by default..

However, he's had too much influence for too long now, which has seen us fail to modernise as a club.

And for me it can't be denied he's a big part of the malaise that hangs over the club. I don't think that's always been the case and used to find it mental how blame would be levelled at him for everything that went wrong on and off the park. Now I believe he's a big factor in everything that's wrong with us.

The disconnect between the board and the fanbase is as bad as its ever been and he's a big part of that along with Desmond. Dinosaurs both.

I get that he won't be as involved in transfer dealings as he was in the past, but I don't think we'll properly progress as a club until he and Desmond leave.

I couldn't agree more, mate. I don't even necessarily want him to go, I just want him to appoint a good DoF and then step back and let them do their job. Not a lazy appointment either. I want them to put the same effort into finding a DoF that they sometimes put into finding a manager.

The fact that we don't have one already speaks volumes.

Must be a decent amount of dividends due to be paid out on them millions sitting in the bank.

    Fat scumbag.

He’s the non executive chairman but, he’s got no say whatsoever in how we operate.

Well stop with the outdated duopoly business plan Pete, invest and coin it in on Europe..it's not rocket science. Let's face it..you could have buried the blue tarts years ago..but nope..let's just sit on the £74m and give rangers a massive chance of winning £50m thus making Scottish football even again. Great stuff Pete..great stuff.
