We had the same number of points as we do just now having played a game more. I think some are seriously overestimating just how poor the squad has been this season. Between shocking recruitment and injuries to key players, it’s been abysmal. The bench in the last two CL group games was nothing short of embarrassing. We’re not only having to put players who shouldn’t be here on the bench, we’ve had to start them regularly this season.

Hart - Needed replaced in the summer.
Taylor - Hopeless as a conventional full back. Which we knew anyway and didn’t replace.
Scales - Done well this season no doubt. But was finished here a year ago and has had to play due to injuries. Still isn’t good enough for us as a starter though.
Turnbull - Another who is finished here. Forrest - Should have been let go before he signed a 3 year contract.
Yang - Hopeless. Totally hopeless.
Mikey Johnstone - I was for giving him another chance to be fair, but he is done here. Now we are back to having to start him because the recruitment was that bad.
Kwon - Say no more.
Phillips - Diddy but we needed cover due to the amount of injuries at centre half.
Bernardo - Last minute loan deal to appease the fans after a * window. No good enough.
Bernabei - Worst positional sense for any professional footballer I’ve ever seen. Woeful.
Ralston - Tries his best but no good enough.
Tilio - I’d be amazed if he ever cuts it here.

I’ve left Kobayashi out as he is that far out the picture. He is another donkey though.

That’s an incredible amount of * to have in the squad. These are guys who have either had to start games, or are the options from the bench barring Kwon. It’s * embarrassing that the board have let us get into this state considering the position we are in financially.

 

Someone from Hearts actually came out and said our slow approach suited them at Celtic Park.

This season for our opposition must be so much easier than last. Less being pressed, less running, less chance of getting pulled out of position.

 

Well if uncle fester is as good as we're being told he is, he won't make that mistake. Callum will need to take the game by the scruff of the neck this time around.

He's far more about him than their sorry excuse for a captain anyway, which gives me confidence.

 

I also think they will have him marked out of the game if he plays in the usual spot.

 

In the games against them Calmac normally puts on a brilliant performance to drive the team on.

Ran the show again, far better when there’s space to play in.

 

Stepped up today. He's still questionable defensively, we definitely need a proper DM in there for the future, but he battled hard and drove us forward well.

 

Fukin awesome today...I'm buzzing for him.

 

For the second game running they gave him the freedom of the park, for the second game running he runs this show. A true leader.
