Are we the only club operating at a champions league level who display such gross levels of jobs for the boys over genuine quality in key departments?

Peter Lawwell’s return? Mark Lawwell, Gavin Strachan, John Kennedy, Micheal Nicholson over looking a complete recruitment process after Dom Mackay, Darren O’Dea, Stephen McManus (there probably is more examples)

All with strong links to the club or family members of ex employees. Are these seriously the best people for the jobs??

Is it any wonder we’ve stagnated in youth development, that recruitment has been absymal, that we see the same basic errors year in year our never been addressed through adequate coaching and have become a laughing stock in UEFA comps, I think it’s Blatantly clear.

This is the problem at the club at the moment we are filling positions with sons and daughters and pals and Aunties when we should be getting experience in those positions.
No way mark lawwell should be our head of recruitment hes only there because of his old man and feel Celtic are getting run like Glasgow city council it's who you know or who your realitives are .

Reminds me of the Kelly dynasty. Hopefully history repeats itself and we can rid ourselves of the shysters currently in control of our club

Harsh as * Mark Lawwell used to make Pep's tea and I'm sure he beat loads of people at the interview stage when applying for the job.

Didn't we hire a recruitment agency to find someone for the mark lawwell job, only to hand it to mark * lawwell.

Weird how that happened. The one guy a professional recruitment agency found was the son of our chairman.

Mark lawwell couldn't spot Messi in a team full of 8 year olds may as well have Stevie wonder in charge of recruitment would do a better job.

As was said many many many times on here during the Ange era.

Don't let the current success fool you. The same people who oversaw the 10iar farce are still in situ and always have been.

There was never any evidence the club had "moved on" or "progressed".

Ange was a sticking plaster, as soon as he left, the same old * came to the fore again.

We're rotten from top to bottom.

Nepotism is something I would expect in my country. You know- East Europe, weird mentality that prioritized tribal links, ever since the 15. century. This feels like a public utility company in a Croatian city- all the upper level employees are members of the same political party and many are relatives.

Each staff member should be scrutinised in isolation as you cant make such sweeping assertions.

John Kennedy and arguably Gavin Strachan have been at Celtic through success and failure.
Kennedy is also believed to have knocked back the opportunity to go down south to stay with us and so he deserves a level of respect.

Plenty of teams give coaching contracts to ex pros and so O’Dea and McManus have obviously shown a solid level of professionalism and were well regarded in their time with us. Similar to when Mjalby was given a role as assistant and had success. Its happens all the time in the world of football and in ordinary working life.

The biggest problem with Mark Lawwell is: how can the CEO fire the Chairman of the Board's son if he's doing a poor job?
