I went to bed when Minteh scored. It was late. I knew there was theoretically a chance to nick a win. Something told me it might be Lagerbielke, because last night felt like luck was on our sude. Lo and behold, I come to check, and it was!

Teams which finished below our total points:
    Antwerp (3)
    Union Berlin (2)
    Sevilla (2)
    Red Star Belgrade (1)

Teams which finished with equal points:
    Manchester United
    Braga
    Benfica
    RB Salzburg
    Young Boys

We all want better but considering the state of our squad I'd say that's not a bad company to be on par with/finish above.

if it was just him you were criticising I would have agreed, but you weren't, you moaned about all Celtic fans who'd complained.

Just enjoy it rather than moan about fans. We haven't won I CL for about 5 years.

Got to admit mate, some of the pelters I've took on here recently for sticking by my club, rather than going all out attack on it like a lot of folk, has contributed to that. I ain't apologising for it either, some of the stuff I've seen on here the last wee while has been * disgraceful, so hopefully some of these diva * were raging at getting called on it. * them.

Mate, it was a dead rubber for both of us... They had 6 points leading into this game, Lazio 10...

It was impossible for them to stay in the CL.

It is a great win to get and useful to maybe help jolt the squad into firing on all cylinders again domestically, but me being a proper moany wee fud, it's * frustrating to see us get that win when for our CL campaign it means the square root of * all and the pressure to do anything was completely taken out of the expectations of last night's game.

It's all if, buts and maybes but is annoying to some extent for me to see us grind out that result and show the mentality and determination to do it, but failed to show those qualities when it actually meant anything.

But I'm willing to look at the silver linings and hope that last night's results means going into the new year and the second half of the season, we can take a great deal of confidence from it, get 1 or 2 clever signings in for Jan window and then storm the league

We all knew it was a dead rubber game but it's still a CL game at Celtic Park.

The atmosphere last night was the best it's been without the GB and the Bhoys.

Good for the confidence and am glad it has reset that * CL winless stat.

Out best players back soon and we strengthen in January, get rid of some * and focus on the domestic double.

Good to finally get a CL win. We rode our luck at times, no doubt about it, and when we were forced into making changes, you could see the drop off as well. Feyenoord started to dominate the game. We showed a lot of fight to be fair however. As although it was a dead rubber, it didn’t really get played like that. There was a needle to the game.

Again though, it’s a campaign wondering what if for me. Rodgers has been working with one arm tied behind his back between injuries to key players and the abysmal summer transfer window. Give him proper backing with the money we have and let’s see if we can make a mark in Europe.

I've rarely seen you talk about Celtic in football terms on here.

All you do is slag off Celtic supporters.

It's just a strange thing to call yourself on a Celtic forum isn't it. You'd think a man of your intellect would realise that.
