Can’t say I’m surprised so many got sold to them with that type of mental offer.

I’m more perplexed by that section in the north stand that seemed to be half filled with away fans. Did an entire supporters bus sell to Dutch fans or something

 

Dinnae let any * tell us it was a dead rubber. Feyenoord needed to win tonight to have any chance of going through in the Champs League.

They went all out to win it tonight but we deserved it. So, * anyone who says it was a dead rubber.

It was a dead rubber for Feyenoord as well mate. Lazio were on 10 points (and lost to At Mad last night so finished on 10), Feyenoord were on 6 going into that game (we won and they finished on 6), so even if they had won, it would still only gotten them to 9 - not enough to overtake Lazio. Both teams were playing for pride last night, but it obviously meant a * of a lot more for us, considering the millstone of historic winless streak that had been weighing us down since 2017 overall - and for a decade at home.

 

Good result, gets us a wee bit of self respect back.
Positioning for their goal was poor, dunno why Johnstone left his man and got sucked inside but anyway. Time to roll the sleeves up and win the battle we’ve created ourselves in the league.

 

The amount of they Dutch * in our end tonight was ridiculous, I was in 106 and they had about 40 at least sitting near us.

 

Arrogant * as well by the way, they didn’t want any craic at all, they just wanted to stay with their own. * joke that this was allowed the night

Remember doing similar in Barcelona and other away grounds where the home fans are prepared to sell tickets.

 

Aye I was sat with the Real Madrid fans last season and to be fair to them they were sound.

If you wanna focus on one game, and put the blinkers on go right ahead matey… but I won’t be joining you in the straw clutching.

I’ll judge us on the euro campaign in its entirety. And overall, it was an abysmal showing from us this season.

And what’s worse for me, is that we have to assume that this is Rodger’s best effort at getting results in Europe’s top competition… because he told us before the season started how motivated he was to do something in Europe this season.

He couldn’t even manage to get us europa league footie to look forward to after the Xmas break. I wasn’t even expecting miracles in this group, but we were a complete mess in every department. An embarrassing shambles!

Yet again, Rodgers does not appear to be learning a single lesson from his games with us at this level. Same as his last spell with us, and yes no different to the fat Aussie at this level. Both completely out of their depth tactically at the top tier of euro footie.

We’re talking about European footie here, not the spfl… so why anyone feels the need to bring up domestic performances / results is a bit of a strange one for me.

Far from embarrassing shambles. We was a couple daft moments away from qualifying and not once did we have a full strength team. Infact we won while playing worse than the games we lost. On a whole we played well except away to Madrid. A win under players belts and watch the nerves be less now and not throw silly games away like this year.

We got the same points as teams who've spent near £1b in the last few years. Now that's a shambles.
