Just been so underwhelmed by it all.

I wasn't like many of the others. I was genuinely so excited to see that he was coming back and got myself right up for it. His 1-0 win at Ibrox only lifted my excitement levels given the injuries he was struck with. However, that result is starting to look more and more down to the fact he was up against an absolutely clueless * in Beale.

I hoped to see a gradual improvement in the football as the season has gone on. Was really excited to see how he would develop the likes of Kyogo, Maeda, O'Riley etc. And whilst certain individuals have improved to an extent, some have regressed if truth be told.

He just seems to be a shadow of his former self. There to seems to be so little excitement around the place and he isn't injecting any energy or positivity into our football whatsoever.

He's 9 clear (effectively 3), and there's actually been a fair few blotches on his record before December. Hibs, Kilmarnock, Motherwell, and St Johnstone have all stopped him domestically - one of them knocking us out of a cup.

The air of invincibility and superiority he had during his first time around just isn't there for me at the moment. We need to seriously invest in January to avoid a * trophyless season at this rate.

Everything about this has been so flat.

Annoying that we've lost the lead in 2 separate occasions, against the same opposition. You would think we would have been better prepared this time.

Don’t think we’d be any better under Ange rn tbh. Look at the players we lost and Palma is the only player we signed as you can class as an established first teamer. Nawrocki maybe too but no where to be seen. Hatate the main man also hardly kicked a ball. Abada been injured for the most part too. 3 pts ahead is about right performance wise right now. It’s a title race for sure now and momentum is with that lot.

I disagree I think Ange's style is just better suited at breaking down the muck.

In particular when we won the ball back under Ange we would immediately look to get at them but now we look to play pissy passy giving our opponents time to get back into shape.

We are too slow to get the ball from back to front and too slow to get the ball wide.

Its highlighted in how little we get in behind the opposition defence. I dont think Yang had one pass played ahead of him today.

Rodgers is tactically still very one dimensional. Its more likely that we will buy our way out of trouble than work it out on the training ground.

1-0 is never a comfortable lead and we got punished.

We still lack quality in quite a few areas of the pitch.

I can't understand why the wingers are told to cut in and not go to the line it kills so many of our attacks and completely nullifies Kyogo. It's been strange since he came back we've seen promising spells but been inconsistent and poor for the majority

He’s got his faults, hence why he’s managing us.

That being said I don’t envy him managing that squad.

If you’d told me two years ago on the trajectory we were on at that time, that todays squad would be what we had assembled, I’d have * myself laughing.

The thread was bumped after the game. Opened it, saw that PISH. Replied.

Obviously you can't handle the fact that his deficiencies are showing, and wanna accuse other supporters of wanting us to lose.

    Says ALOT about you.

So take your accusatory pish elsewhere, ya * child.

    This.

Won't ever claim to know as much as others about football tactics but you could have parked a bus on either side of the goal, yet Yang and Palma kept cutting inside and tried to thread passes through a mass of bodies.
On the one or two occasions they did find that pass the recipient was crowded off the ball in seconds.

No idea * Rodgers was thinking, seeing it clearly wasn't working but persisted with it.

This isn't like Ange sticking to his principles or a philosophy. It's just poor game management along with naive tactics.

He needs to get a * grip pronto.

It's starting to look like the players aren't responding to his methods.

Except for O'Riley, every single one of our players has been worse under Rodgers so far than they were under Ange.

Johnston, Taylor, McGregor, Hatate and Kyogo are the ones that stand out the most. But it's a theme across the entire team.

Some are slightly worse, others a lot, but I genuinely can't think of anyone whose upped it bar O'Riley. If we're being generous you can add Scales too. He's been good but he didn't even feel like a Celtic player before because he barely featured.

It's a real concern. The buzz has gone and let's be honest it hasn't been there from day one. I think I've enjoyed two or three games so far this season. It's almost December!

People, for some bizarre reason, were expecting a return to the invincibles.

They expected money to be thrown at him to put up a fight in Europe again, and they expected us to have the league wrapped up by Xmas.

Some of us didn't buy it. I argued for weeks with one poster about how Jota wasnt being "replaced". I said he simply wasnt going to be. No evidence based on past behaviour of Desmond or his board suggested he would be.

It was * bizarre. This nonsense about him being an "elite manager" and "no way he's coming back unless the board are gonna help him out" and all sorts of other madness.
People were still riding high on the Ange wave and thought the club had turned a corner. We hadn't.

Rodgers was not an "inspired" appointment. It was a lazy one. The exact same modus operandi as Lennon's return. Great manager leaves, grab a comfort blanket.

The tragic and unavoidable truth is no English team wanted him, and his only other option was Saudi Arabia; which he correctly surmised he is too good for. Bit being too good for SA shouldn't be barometer for good enough for us.

10 years ago he was one of the best managers in "British football".
Now he's stock has plummeted, and his tactics are defunct. Not to mention is utterly horrendous European record. Which just * stinks to high heaven. Again, another deficiency that was waved away by the happy clappers, who blamed Liverpool and Leicesters boards, and pointed to a draw with Man City as some sort of indicator of competence.

We're saddled with him until he and the board get their * acts together. He needs to wise up tactically, and the board need to back him. The tragedy is that he should have enough experience and knowledge to fix this, and board have more than enough cash reserves to back him properly.

Call me a Debbie Downer, but I don't see either happening.

Despite huge inconsistencies in performances this year, I don't really blame him for yesterday's result.

Yang and Oh missed free headers that were harder to put wide and Palma missed a penalty.

We had more than enough opportunities to win that game but individuals didn't take their chances.

Edit: I also think that he's just not the same standard of quality of Ange in every department so naturally we're downbeat about the changes. Filling Ange's boots is impossible though. He'd be another MON if he stayed imo. He was class in every department.
