I'd be tempted to loan him out in January, he's a good bit behind CCV and Scales and I think he'll be behind Nawroxki when he's fit.

Phillips will be gone but we'll have Welsh, who's good enough as 4th choice and won't complain too much about lack of gametime.

 

Think he will turn out a serious addition in time.. loan could be the answer in January.

No, we need the squad. We loan him out in Jan then someone 9sninjured and everyone is greetin "how incompetent can the board be loaning out someone and then we got all these injuries"

 

Or we don't get injuries. He sits in the stand for 4 months and eventually moves on having had little game time and everyone is greeting about us wasting money on duds that don't play

 

Cand see him going to an SPL club on loan, do nothing for his development that.
With Welsh back now, we should be safe to loan him out for rest of season.

Aye I mentioned that in the January Transfer thread a wee while back, definitely think a loan would be a good idea. He needs gametime if he's to develop and right now he just doesn't quite seem up to the standard required here.

 

I didn't think he done that bad tbh. Thrown into the deep end. Of course he would need time to get settled that's normal.

Will be a good player for us in the future.

 

This is my take, the only thing that really concerned me about him was his lack of pace. He looked very slow. I feel either he or Welsh should go on loan for the second half of the season.

We play far less games and only about 3 or 4 midweek fixtures but it’s mainly weekend to weekend. Having 5 centre backs won’t be necessary. One of the two of them should go out to a team in the league and play like Scales did at Aberdeen.

He’s not the only one Tilio, Kwon, Johnston, Kobayashi, Ideguchi and McCarthy, if we can’t move them on permanently for the last four we need to get them out playing in the league.

We used to try in them, until the Newcastle 3-2 one. Giggs's one was a good night, with Sutton slapping Beckham.

 

Signed to replace Starfelt and he's now our 6th choice centre back.

Another miserable piece of recruitment.

Career here must be over.

 

I know he's made a couple of mistakes, but his general play and passing looked good to me.

 

Been better than Phillips at least.
