Great to see him starting the build up the motoring up the park to get involved.

 

Are you for real??? Maybe move mcgregor forward but he can’t be left out.

 

I'd like to give him a run, not over McGregor though!

 

Calmac frustrates the life out of me. Too many sideways and backward passes

 

I like him. Think there's a good player in there. Just needs a decent run of mins/games. Cal is off the boil as well. Let's rotate.

 

McGregor quite rightly wont be getting dropped for him but I wouldn’t be against seeing them in the same midfield. Don’t think it necessarily has to be one or the other, especially with hatate out.

 

He was excellent when he came on

 

Aye, must be frustrating for him, comes on does well and then doesn’t feature..

 

The difference when he came on was night and day
He was looking for the ball in space and went forward with desire to create
Cal Mac for me too often is hiding and too many side/backward passes for me atm

 

He's a good player

Full of energy, composed on the ball and won his tackles.

He should be getting a lot more game time now.

Should be starting in the holding role next few games and push McGregor further up, so easy on the eye and keeps the tempo up. Plus he can actually do the physical side and break up play.

 

Quick, strong, good defensively, good on the ball.

Last 3 or 4 games he's came on he's done well.

Absolutely no * idea why he's not been given a run when every other option has

 

If we are looking for experienced heads then I really struggle to see how we can't have McGregor be in the position of the likes of Turnbull/Holm where Iwata sits a little deeper to allow McGregor and O'Riley to dictate play further up field.

McGregor had/has a fantastic energy and directness to his game when he's making darting runs into the box and popping off shots

 

Excellent cameo. 4 years younger than McGregor so plenty development left too.
