    True.

Could it be a situation where Abada is an Arab Israeli and Bitton is a Jewish Israeli? Not really sure of the ins and outs of how that works but I’m sure the Jewish side see the Arabs who live there as lesser than them.

I hope these acts of violence stop.

I want peace and Palestine to be free.

I feel for Abada and despite what he really thinks, his statement was left open enough.

Not sure how you make that distinction, he's definitely Jewish if that's what you are referring to, he's a descendant of the https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mizrahi_Jews and your question did make me look up where he is from: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petah_Tikva

The place sounds like a microcosm of the whole settlement disputes that are everywhere across the region.

I was going on the name alone as Abada sounds a more Arab name and Bitton is clearly a Jewish name.

I’ll have a look at the Wiki page later and get a better understanding of it, about to start grafting just now :50:

abada has no problem pulling on a shirt and representing a terrorist state that has slaughtered a countless number of civilians for decades if he has an issue with it now he should * off now along with the celtic board. biton came out with his peace on earth pish when he got called on his support for the israeli army when they were conducting an operation in palestine .

Had a read there as it’s pishing down and haven’t got out the van yet :giggle1:

Certainly seems like a place that’s seen its fair share of conflict for such a small area, going all the way back to the Ottomans. It’s such a * up, complex situation, hard to really know where the people stand on it.

I'm not sure we can give you separate points for Normans, English, Tudors and the French.

Let's just say Vikings then the English, then the English, then the bastarding English, then the Brits.. then the bastarding Brits again.

Of course most countries would say the same. Bastarding English..

It’s a sick situation that’ll get a whole lot worse if Iran and the Yanks get more involved.

He’s definitely Jewish. He literally took time off to go home for Yom Kippur a year or two ago while we were playing a game, and a lot of folk in here lost their shiz. Some short memories in this thread for a forum that was so outraged at the time.

Yeah of the Israeli players we have had at the club, Beram Kayal is the only one who was an Arab Muslim.

I thought I remembered him being Muslim, but then I’d have expected that name to be rendered ‘Al Hamid’ (though not necessarily) - EDIT: I’ve checked: he’s Muslim; exception to the rule!

Can sometimes tell by those little differences in vowels, but not always.

E.g. ‘Allah’ is from the same generic Near Eastern root (‘El’ - ‘*’) as the Jewish ‘Elohim’ (‘* Almighty’), as found in the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament.
