If you mean Craig Tara, avoid it during the busy times, its full of * out their nuts on gear. We took the kids last year for a change as we usually go further afield if we aren’t going abroad, and there was teams of * fighting etc.

Marton Mere in Blackpool is decent for what it is, and if you don’t fancy going out into Blackpool, the park itself is chilled enough to just kick about for the duration. We usually do that or Haggerston Castle.

And I’m not sure the dates of the summer holidays this year mate. Glasgow and Ayrshire are a bit different time wise.

Stay home. Ply your kids with cocaine infused red bull, play cotton eye Joe far too loud, drink a flat pint and just keep giving the kids mountains of loose change that they can throw into a black hole in the back garden.

    That's Craig Tara.

Theres a nice caravan park up beside where I live. The only drawback is that there is quite a lot of rubbish lying about, bits of old broken caravans, transit van engines and scrap metal. Also there is a tendency for the residents to strip to the waist and have a fist fight....which they record and put on youtube.

There can be a bit of animosity aimed towards new residents. But aside from that its lovely.

If you'd like I can give you the number

It's a caravan park mate. If you are aware then there'll be no surprises.

Haggerston Castle a good shout. Bit of a trek from the boat mind you but worth it.
