    Random thought. I'd fancy some of our players to be sold next summer but it appears now a fair core of the starting team McGregor kyogo maeda hatate O'Riley abada have all signed long term deals with no doubt higher wages.i know there was talk in the summer that we would be breaking transfer records (talk of +12mill signings) and with that comes higher wages. Just makes be think Rodgers could be given a fair chunk next summer for a small amount of his additions. Those incoming players on wages similar to what maybe McGregor or kyogo are on now.

    Highly possible I'd say. One more season of expanding our financial holdings and we could be ready to take the next step up in player calibre we can afford.

    Understand it's a source of frustration for a lot of fans, having money and not investing to a higher level, but think it's smart to increase our safety net before we increase our outlay. If there's one thing the club are good at it's being prudent and being financially secure.

    Think you could be onto something here.

    I honestly think he’s got a huge Champions League performance in him this season, he was excellent in Holland but (partially because of the context of the game) never had that much influence on the outcome.

    He could very well come up with the assists or goals to win one though, he’s on a huge upwards trajectory just now and seems to thrive on being so important as well.
