    We tend to think about curving runs in terms of beating offside or in pressing traps; but it's so clever how he does that when pressing defenders from behind them.

    Must firghten the life out of defenders when up against that kind of pace, he was phenominal for the full 90 mins, guy's got an incredible engine.

    Could have had a hat-trick another day, the O'Riley goal he made an * of and probably should have scored, the 1 on 1 was unlucky as the keeper rushed out and was 2 yards away and blocked it then a beauty at the end.

    His contribution today was awesome, especially when we went down to 10. Some of his tackling was just phenomenal.
    Won so many tackles that he was not entitled to. What an engine. And got himself into some dangerous positions, had a hand (*) in Matts goal.

    Can't think of a player who I've ever seen press quite like him. I remember Ivica Olic maybe being a bit similar at a higher level. But maybe I'm misremembering his energy. Daizen is elite in that regard

    That would probably be me, one moment a superstar next moment you’d think he was pub league. He obviously gets visibly frustrated with himself, when he banged in that worldy, he didn’t even really celebrate because he knew he duffed a tap in. He’s really hard on himself because he’s always trying to improve.

    Let’s be realistic though, if he was always a superstar he’d be playing at a top 5 EPL club or a top 2 in La Liga. There’s nobody in world football that has his engine or pace combination to press defensively for extended periods.

    I absolutely love the guy for what he brings to this team.
